Ultra Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 He may prove to be another Ryan Smith. So he may not be that big a loss for us..

Janx Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 Anybody but Derby, bastards!!! One of the lads in my firm is a big gooner...nob... but he has been saying to me for at LEAST a season to get this lad... hmm thems the breaks we cant afford 5K per week for a brilliant prospect who scored about 50 in the ressies..
OBO Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 That's an absolutely unbelievable loan signing! Wasn't he even getting a few games in the Arsenal first team last year? (Cup etc)
Collymore Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 It's not about individuals in this league. Derby will have to learn the hard way. Fryatt will score more goals than him this season anyway...
Anish Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 People were saying the same thing about Ryan Smith last season when we got him. As for Smith, he's not exactly lit up Pride Park with his performances thus far - starting the 1st two matches but being subbed after 60 mins (in both games), and then dropping to the bench for the last game.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 Lupoli will be really good in this league. He is suited to it better than Smith ever would be. I believe he will do very well this season and will almost definitely score more goals than Fryatt in my opinion.
Durnerz Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 Hes a top player, my mate had him as his captain at Parma, and his goal record speaks for itself at Arsenal.

Ryan Smith is just saving himself for when he play against Us!!!!!
NFFC Chris Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 Good signing for the sheep, building a good squad, the playoffs beckon for them
Thracian Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 I wonder if having Smith helped them get Lupoli. Whereas we probably burned our boats with the both Smith and Arsenal. The whole situation didn't strike me as very clever or farsighted at the time.

Derby are probabley paying a fair bit in wages, it seems to me that only clubs with a bit of money are able to get Arsenal's rated youngsters.

Elvis once was top scorer in the Premier League Reserves.
Janx Posted 18 August 2006 Posted 18 August 2006 Elvis once was top scorer in the Premier League Reserves. the difference is DEAFENING!!! metaphorically!

Floating Fox Posted 20 August 2006 Posted 20 August 2006 Derby can afford his wages We cant, neither could most chamionship sides...I dont think he'll do very well for them though - Hopefully

I'd like to know where all these goals Fryatt is going to score are coming from! He certainly hasn't impressed me in the games I've watched so far this season!

Head Honcho Posted 20 August 2006 Posted 20 August 2006 Thank you someone that doesnt bum fryatt and support's my view's Don't get me wrong I want him to do well but other strikers we've had in the past have done better and been given a harder time. He may have huge potential but unfortunately that doesn't win you matches.
