Thracian Posted 18 August 2006 Share Posted 18 August 2006 I don't mind either of five and six but that would mean Levi's a must wide left otherwise we're short of the final pass again..
Steven Posted 18 August 2006 Share Posted 18 August 2006 I laughed when I saw the poll result because I thought no-one would vote foir the same combo as me. How wrong I was. :w00t: :w00t:

Head Honcho Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 It's official Williams and Hughes should never start a game together again!
Guest Gist Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 I think Weso and Hughes.
dandannieldanok Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 Johnson and Williams for me in a diamond midfield four. With Johnson holding and Williams attacking I think we will have a good balance.
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 Hughes and Johnson for me at the moment. They need a bit of work but could do a job.
holly Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 i put weso and johnson obviously only a saw a lil bit of them together last night, but they are both players how get stuck in! however i would like to see weso and hughes together with hughes now starting to find himself i reckon it could work well together

Simon Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 HAS to be Hughes and Weso. No question.
Gamesmaster Posted 19 August 2006 Share Posted 19 August 2006 I dont believe for one moment hughes or williams are even equall to johnson. Neither have more pace, more knowledge, more ball control etc etc. Alongside weso, johnson will be able to play HIS game more, than trying to cover for the other chickens. Johnson play his game! he's been given the position so far but appears lazy in a game. doesn't seem to have an enthusiasm to win like Hughes has since he's back in CM. Def Hughes n Weso is the partnership.
Chrysalis Posted 20 August 2006 Share Posted 20 August 2006 interesting Williams - Weso is 2nd. It shows not many people have faith on johnson and quite right, almost every pass he does is overhit.

chappo Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 Johnson and Williams for me in a diamond midfield four. With Johnson holding and Williams attacking I think we will have a good balance. Williams?! he is so over rated. he would struggle to get back in the forest team. can never understand why people like him so much. weso and AJ in the middle. That is a good pairing! lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 Leave Weso out until he has regained full fitness. Hughes isn't playing too badly atm either so I think he should be left in for a bit longer with AJ
The Don Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 I would like to see a 3-5-2 formation. Play Weso, Williams and AJ
lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 Reckon RK would be adventurous enough to play a 3-5-2 though?
The Don Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 Yep - but would put 2 defenders at wing backs - skills maybe and maybury maybe instead of Sheehan and Stearman.
lcfc_jme Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 I don't know so much. I wouldn't think that RK is in favour of changing his formation that much. If he was prepared to do so, he'd have done that a few times in pre-season. Instead, he chose to stick at 4-4-2, a formation the players know and feel comfortable with

newms Posted 21 August 2006 Share Posted 21 August 2006 Can't believe Johnsons so unpopular I've been quite impressed with hi and I'd defenatly start him atm its not that I dont rate him its that Hughes has impressed me more, everyone is familiar with Weso's talent and I think they'd make a good combination
