Yes and he's making a hash of it now and I don't think he's worth his 100k salary or he's big Prem bonus.

I know people have differnt opinions to me where have I stated I otherwise.

Well done PAT ON THE HEAD LITTLE BOY :bounce:

I don't care how long you've suppourted the club for you talk rubbish on near enough every thread you post in.

REALLY? THAT IS A MATTER OF OPINION

Well if you like them go on watch the riders....... I like football.

I WILL WATCH WHAT I LIKE

If your nephew likes his/her flag so much I hope he/she keeps it for the whole season ( which of course wont happen ) that may prove to me they weren't a total waste of reasources.

A NEWPHEW HAPPENS TO BE A BOY, A NEICE IS A GIRL..... PAT ON THE HEAD LITTLE BOY! :bounce:

If you think I would change my Avatar because you don't like it your even more of a numb skull then I first thought.

JUST AN OPINION :D

I get behind the club just fine thank you Sosban, I just don't want Henry playing that basted horn all the way through game it was bad enough for 20 seconds at the start.

I QUITE LIKE HENRY, SUCH A DECENT CHAP! :pirate:

I would argue it has more to do with their sh*tty stadium than anything. The acoustics in their ground from the small compactness of it mean you can hear other fans chanting clearly.

The acoustics in our stadium and other new ones focus the sound onto the pitch so you lose the level of banter that once existed. Add that to the loss of the once intimate feeling of Filbert Street and it's no surprise the atmosphere suffers.

Put portsmouth in a new flashy stadium and it wouldn't matter if you had the guy from Def Leppard banging the drum, the atmosphere would still be severely lacking compared to them at Fratton Park.

Dont agree with you.

If you have the fans then the stadium doesnt matter.

Look at Southampton ;)

Eight months is about three quarters of the year. It's nearly the whole season. If you're going to belittle an achievement, at least think about it sensibly before pretending to be clever. :\

.... It included the summer so take three months.... any case we were one of the last clubs to impose a smoking ban it would of been on the cards anyway.

That wasn't a open meeting that was a special meeting if I recall after Davis was sent numerous e-mails about the standerd of stewarding and he called a meeting.

So you've banned smoking in the stadium about 8 months before a national ban comes in anyway and had a failed attempt at swapping the kop.

you really are a TOTAL TW*T arent you :mad:

You give shit all support to the club + You moan at everything.

YOUR the reason why theres no atmosphere at games anymore. How do you expect the club to do things that impress you when you dont even voice your views?!!!! The club dont know any better, they think that the fans at the meetings represent the majority, so why dont you go to these meeting and tell TD himself how you feel instead of posting on here all fooking day

SosbanFach FIAB and Ultra are spot on with what theey have sed

now now, personal abuse can get you a ban ( not that it would be any great loss )

As I have said before I suppourt the team when I'm at the football, so no im no the reason for a rubbish atmosphere.

The club plays around with bands and flags and all day when we are losing money every year and slipping further and further into debt.

As I have said Tim Davis wont listen.

The band's hardly going to be paid, are they? It's hardly going to be a strain on the club's finances.

Doubght it.

Prob just free season tickets.:rolleyes:

Well no I ment spent time not money in that case. Henry will strain my ears though, he is pretty much my whole reason for being against this paticular "idea".

1. I've stated before, the club's a business. It'll have several departments, one of which will be in charge of cheap marketing ploys and general tat like this. If they weren't organising bands they'd be designing new banners or shite promotions on Leicester City keyrings. It's not going to cause a massive strain on the club's time, energy and resources to have one of it's admin employees sit a desk, phone a couple of volunteers and tell them they can bring a few bits of brass and a drum to the ground. Is it?

2. If Henry is part of this band, I would imagine he can play something other than that lousy horn. You can't exactly play a massive array of tunes with a bloody three-foot hunting horn. No, he isn't exactly Joey the Lips, but I imagine the club could do worse.

we do not need a band nor flags etc., though if they sell the flags and make them pay then they wont hurt the finances , we cant afford crap freebies .

what we need for a good atmosphere is decent football and winning matches.

i just like to watch the football these days , so i sit in the corner of the main stand near the kop when i go and yes i guess im getting old  when my niece can afford it i take her too , though she doesnt mind whether we win or lose.

she just enjoys going to the match  even if its a dire game.

Sorry, I strongly disagree with all this "what we need for the atmosphere is good performances" crap. You can blame the team, blame the stadium, blame the club all you want - the fact of the matter is, our fans have gotten boring. If fans feel inspired to sing, they'll sing. We've been crap before and we've still sung.

Trust me it aint that simple organising things like that takes up there will be meetings analysis on the poll Peter Jones is going to have to sit and read through the thousand odd E-mails he's going to get. I bet some idoits send them direct to Davis as well.

Then there is people who are threatning to stay away, 4 or 5 on this forum have already said that will probabley be it for them  this is needless we dont need a band!

I hope to god you are right about the horn.

If I'm right on one thing, I expect it's the horn. Unless he plans to stand letting off a hunting march every five minutes the thing's useless. Wouldn't surprise me if he plays a trumpet or a bugle (sp?) or something too.

Besides, no one's said for fact it WILL be him. Let's be fair, the club canceled his "act" for a reason. Just because he may have been a part of suggesting that a band be permitted to play in the ground, it doesn't nescersarily mean he'll be welcomed to be a part of it by the club. :D

That was your 666th post :devil::devil:

Henry's bound to play the horn now.

Don't worry about it, those history geek nobbers reckon 616 is the REAL number of the beast. You should be safe, when were Iron Maiden right about anything?

edit: Oh and it was my 665th, I think. I think 666 was in the Frosties thread about that little coont.

I can't help feel Manwell Pablo is getting undue stick.

With regards, open meetings, I have long called into question their meaning. Before I get the abuse of, if you go, you can make a difference, cr*p fan you are, stop moaning if you don't go, etc, here are my reasons.

When people attend open meetings, people naturally put forward their own personal views, voting on and arguing based on them. In effect, they vote on what they believe is right for the club, or what they believe other fans want. This is not necessarily inline with what the majority want. Now this is not a criticism of those that go. An example of this is when you Henry is given the floor to speak, based on his belief that the fans want him to play.

Now this is not a criticism of those that attend these meetings. Far from. In my mind, those that go are acting as custodians of the fans wishes. They do a good job. However, would it not be more beneficial to canvess more people's opinions before putting ideas to a vote.

Yes, the argument comes back, you should go to the meetings or shut up. I would argue that the only time you feel you need to go to these meetings is when you feel those acting as custodians of the fans wishes are not representing the fans any longer. That leads to a whole host of questions in my mind of, should the foxes trust be canvessing more fans opinions, and if they do, is an open meeting really needed?

I understand, this is opening a can of worms. I want to make it clear that I think those who go to the open meetings have done a good job and should be commended for getting involved to represent the fans. It just begs the question of are they as worthwhile as we make out, bearing in mind we have the Foxes trust to represent us fans.

fans do not get boring , they do get fed up and can easily become disenfranchised from the club.

filbo used to have the kop making all the noise and it filled the ground plus you had the oppo fans right next to the kop making more noise.

the present ground does not help in this respect.

my brother works in the away section and ive been sitting at the other end of the ground hearing the noise coming from the kop and he cant hear it.same with a mate who sits next to the away section , he says you cant hear much noise from the kop apart from when poeple are banging the advertising boards.the accoustics of the old kop were excellent , just a shame the toilets etc., sucked.

singing is a different matter but there hasnt been decent singing at leicester for donkeys years :D

me , im to old for that these days. i just want my coffee and food poisoning from a slightly warm burger :P

I don't think you're a crap fan for not going to meetings. Let's be fair, how many people go? And how many Leicester fans are there around? Nuff said. I think crap fans are the people that constantly moan about literally everything, and I mean EVERYTHING and have no suggestions themselves. Let's invent an entirely hyperthetical person, for example, we'll call him Farton Box. Farton Box could watch his side promoted with players the value of £2.40 and a packet of crisps and still be convinced his manager was an idiot, the players only gave 70% and there was no hope in the world.

Indeed very much undue, just having an opinion on the current board I am not a proper fan, a TOTAL T**T and the evil mastermind resposible for the lack of atmosphere at the walkers.

I neither wish to critize people who go to the meetings but when they come on here with a holyer(sp) then thou attitude its very annoying, they make very little differnce to the club and the small issues they address at these open meetings are designed to keep us occupyied. Discussing the band the, flags, Henry, the slogan and swapping the kop is what they want us to do. Instead of discussing the real issues like the accounts, the lack of investment, the dwinlding attendances, the dyer football and the lack of ambition.
