Alright Barton, I have my own opinion. My own opinion is that you're a whiney, bitching, little forum-troll who gets his kicks by moaning on an internet forum. It is my opinion that the majority of forum posters could state the sky to be blue and you'd make some contradictory, pedantic rebuttle about reflections off the sea just to make your own little internet penis feel bigger.

How can you expect young lads like, say, Richard Stearman to come out and feel inspired and amazed at the prospect of playing infront of his beloved home-town crowd when all they can muster is the odd pissed chav in L1 yelling "C'mon Leicester, c'mon Leicester" when we get a corner?

If having some attention seeking cúnt with a trumpet inspires a few more people to sing then that's fine with me. Sure, there'll always be some miserable twat to have a moan and you're welcome to be that person - just don't expect me to take you even slightly seriously. You're just the forum arsehole - and I commend everyone else's optimism.

Feel free to laugh at any spelling, punctuation or grammar errors to make any reply, I doubt you've got much else.

That's pretty clearly conveyed to me.

So do I...particularly given that the yes vote on the OS currently stands at 62%!!!

Internet polls are notoriously easy to manipulate. As long as as you can clear cookies from your PC you can vote as often you want on this.

I have drawn this to the attention of Peter Jones.

That's because the Cov fans got wind of it!

And a lot more besides.

Anyone with access to Premium TV websites can vote..

Bands should not be allowed anywhere near a football ground.

I personally find them annoying, embarrassing & feel they just create a theme park like atmosphere - which is not what I go to football for.

Whatever next..... Filbert Fox getting us all to do the Mexican Wave

At the recent England v Jamaica game I had the misfortune of being sat next to the England band & found them that annoying that I walked out after about 30 mins

This is going to be so pisspoor. The band will only play two or three songs. Plus I bet they'll be complete wankers who force us to sing "We Love You Leicester" or "Leicester, Leicester, Leicester" or "Rob Kelly's Blue Army" repeatedly. Mark my words, this is going to happen and it's going to be rubbish.

This is indeed a response to Henry and his acolytes at the open meeting. :(

Those who failed to attend that meeting have no right to complain about the proposal being put.

But they have EVERY right to say no, and should take it, preferably by email as internet polls on the OS are notoriously unreliable.

I have already emailed Peter Jones to advise that a band on the Kop would threaten future investment in the club, at least from me.

Is it bollox. Andrew Neville proposed the idea and it was more along the lines of the steel band (or some of it) that plays outside. Henry hijacked the idea and offered his band for free. Steel drum yes, Henry no.

Voted no in some vain attempt stop the farse that is LCFC stooping any lower.

I dunno where this is going to end I really don't, rubbish slogans, shit flags, crap football, and now according to Ultra I have to make a 35 mile round trip on a Thursday night in order to Stop the idoits at LCFC thinking up more daft ideas (i.e bands) and also to have a say about it after.

I think not.

People who cannot be bothered to attend open meetings get what they deserve. That is why many contraversial ideas get through in all walkes of life be it union afairs or voting for your party. Only those who are determined enough to particpate get off their arse and go. A thirty a thirty mile round trip for me, seems fair enough if I get to hear first hand what is being proposed and get to argue my point if I wish to.

Do you actually know that for fact, or are you speculating?

Pure speculation, but I did once read the ground rules when bored waiting outside one day. And nearly everything is banned....

Including Thermos flasks, umbrellas, flags.. etc...

Pure crap.

I don't drive I have no way of getting back, and even if I did I have commitments. I shouldn't have to turn up and argue against this idea the suggestion should of never been taken seriously.

I really can't stand people who think they are brilliant because they have attended a open meeting  :worship::clap: well done, you have sat their been pumped full of crap by the club and had a hand in creating yet another terrible idea. This does not make you special.

The trouble is, if the idea is approved, Henry will immediately go straight to the Mockery and hail a result as a demand for his return.

And the club, I fear, will be too gutless to advise him otherwise. :(

And there, ladies and gentlemen, is the reason football fans are getting "more boring". Coonts like that.

St. George's cross bikini woman signature, petitions for St. George's day, English patriotism, great. Walks out on his national team because some moron had a trumpet? Grow the fock up.

I agree I was there, I did a 40 mile round trip!

This is any fans opportunity to speak!.... we are all different and want different things to happen some people are pre-ocupied with themselves and not the CLUB.

Last year, by attending an open meeting, fans succeeded in:

* forcing a review of stewarding, which was a massive issue at the time.

* forcing the club to consider a smoking ban (approved after wider consultation)

* persuading the club to consider moving the Kop (rejected after wider consultation)

Modest achievements, perhaps. But better than what we'd have had if we'd stayed at home.

Many fans would kill for the opportunity of dialogue with their clubs. It's sad that so many FOXES appear not to value it. :(

Yes, but they have short, hollow, plastic holders. I mean the wooden/metal poles!!

Manwell....... The people (TDavies etc) happened to have saved out club a while ago.... now grow up a little and have a decent point of view.

Football is for fans of all ages 5-105 years old, and some people might actually have a difference of opinion too YOU.

I Have supported the club since 1982 my first match and the only thing i bother worrying about is the points we have on the board.

Bands, Music, Dancers, Lottery's, Flags, whatever some people MIGHT ACTUALLY LIKE THEM.

I have a nephew aged 7 who thinks the flags are excellent I cant stand them..... he hates the music I like it.

Join in the fun ... go on be brave.

PS I dont like your avatar.....change it mate its rubbish!

SPOT ON.

Ultra + FIAB the alliance of science!

Thumbs up to the 'Alliance of Science'. It's rare I agree with Ultra but I can't not on this account. Those of you who are going to moan about the state of the club and then moan at the club's attempts to correct it can just fock off. Have you not considered that there wouldn't be such a shit atmosphere if you cheered up and did more to get behind your side?

Posted

You can't really badly damage someone with one of them though, really. And they're not massive enough to be considered an obstruction. Though I was in the ground when the Tigers played Bath and they gave flags out to everyone. I wanted to throttle the kid infront of me, kept smacking me in the face with the flag.

Yes and he's making a hash of it now and I don't think he's worth his 100k salary or he's big Prem bonus.

I know people have differnt opinions to me where have I stated I otherwise.

I don't care how long you've suppourted the club for you talk rubbish on near enough every thread you post in.

Well if you like them go on watch the riders....... I like football.

If your nephew likes his/her flag so much I hope he/she keeps it for the whole season ( which of course wont happen ) that may prove to me they weren't a total waste of reasources.

If you think I would change my Avatar because you don't like it your even more of a numb skull then I first thought.

I get behind the club just fine thank you Sosban, I just don't want Henry playing that basted horn all the way through game it was bad enough for 20 seconds at the start.

That wasn't a open meeting that was a special meeting if I recall after Davis was sent numerous e-mails about the standerd of stewarding and he called a meeting.

So you've banned smoking in the stadium about 8 months before a national ban comes in anyway and had a failed attempt at swapping the kop.

Yes, and no!!

Carl has already emailed to say he will be asking for a refund!

You recall wrong. It WAS an open meeting. ALL fans were invited to attend. Other issues were raised apart from stewarding.

The point was that the club listened to the fans and acted on those suggestions.

You or I may not agree with what was suggested but you cannot blame others for exercising their rights.

If a proper vote is taken (ie not via the net) and the vote goes against us we will just have to live with it. That's what democracy is about.
