Master Fox Posted 31 August 2006 Author Posted 31 August 2006 They're a perfectly agreeable club in my view.... They are hanging around our club like a bad smell, it’s as if they want to **** us up the arse or something?
dandannieldanok Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 They are hanging around our club like a bad smell, it’s as if they want to **** us up the arse or something? Agreed, plus they have a psycho in control of team matters and a half-wit irishman in control of the club itself. One thing that will be interesting this season is when they play Wolves. Will Keano and McCarthy shake hands?
Mort Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Should really be my "second club", so to speak, half my family are from "Mack'em-land"... never really had a big problem with them, in fact i'm pretty indifferent really... there are clubs i have higher opinions of (WestHam) and clubs i have much lower opinions of (Spurs)...
Tommeh Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 HANDS OFF STEARMAN!!!!!! (unless you have a spare £2million which we could have to spend by 3pm this afternoon) If not BUGGA OFFFFFFF!
SystonFox Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 i like them if they spend 2Million on maybury (mistaking him for Stearman). if they really want Stearman i hate them.
isaidno Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Haven't forgiven the sunderland fans for booing during the 1 minute silence for keith weller at the walkers.
Magictv Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Haven't forgiven the sunderland fans for booing during the 1 minute silence for keith weller at the walkers.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 To be fair I pretty much dislike or hate every other team other than leicester, obviously some more than others!
Phube Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Haven't forgiven the sunderland fans for booing during the 1 minute silence for keith weller at the walkers. Never heard that, myself... Shocking if true!!!
Tommeh Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Haven't forgiven the sunderland fans for booing during the 1 minute silence for keith weller at the walkers. oh yes I remember that now can't believe I forgot it. Truely discraceful We were shouting scum, scum, scum at them for about 3minutes L1 and Kop joined forces!! Tw@s
DaveyJ Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Haven't forgiven the sunderland fans for booing during the 1 minute silence for keith weller at the walkers. I've never been so disgusted at a football match than when they did that.
Tommeh Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 I've never been so disgusted at a football match than when they did that. same here then they really took the piss by winning 1-0 and going on to win the championship. SCUM! Still look what happened the season after...
nhfox Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 At the weekend, decent Sunderland fans were embarrassed by a scummy, tiny minority of cockroaches among them – needlessly disrespecting a minute's silence in memory of Leicester star Keith Weller. Link
lcfc_jme Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Link That's absolutely disgusting that is. I honestly knew nothing about this, but I do know that during a minute silence, no matter who for, you show respect. That is tasteless, disgraceful and unforgivable really.
Ultra Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Haven't forgiven the sunderland fans for booing during the 1 minute silence for keith weller at the walkers. That wasn't entirely their fault. From what I recall, no proper notice was given on the PA as to what or who the minute's silence was about.
lcfc_jme Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 That wasn't entirely their fault. From what I recall, no proper notice was given on the PA as to what or who the minute's silence was about. Doesn't take a genius to work out that a minute's silence is there as a mark of respect to somebody that has passed away during that week though surely??
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Doesn't take a genius to work out that a minute's silence is there as a mark of respect to somebody that has passed away during that week though surely?? Like they knew who Keith Weller was.
lcfc_jme Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Like they knew who Keith Weller was. Not saying they did mate, but surely if it's a minute's silence then you just keep your mouth shut and get on with it, not start booing. In my experience, a minute silence is only observed after somebody has died, and is observed as a sign of respect. Even Sunderland fans should know that.
syston_fox Posted 1 September 2006 Posted 1 September 2006 That wasn't entirely their fault. From what I recall, no proper notice was given on the PA as to what or who the minute's silence was about. Im think that the PA didnt actually announce that there was to be a minutes silence or something like that happened because I remember that I wasnt exactly sure that the thing had started when it did. I think it was more down to a mistake rather than the sunderland fans showing any respect to the memory of Keith Weller.
