Phube Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Phew!!! Not bad, I just hope we get a win against Colchester and not arse it up!!!!
Master Fox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 I feel gutted really. I would of taken a draw before the game but I feel we should of won.
Swedging Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Excellent result. And sounds like we played well throughout.
Thracian Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Gradel for Hughes next game and let's really try to win.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 At least he's not made silly, purposeless changes but it's Kelly's nature to be cautious. A draw was better than many expected but it was another game we could have won. At least we got one point! A point was a good result for us cis, and I'm quite happy to take a point away from their ground based on current form, especially with Fryatt scoring, but as Thrac said, we could have won, and its games like this that can be the difference between relegation and staying up for some sides, or play-offs/just missing out. Still, I'm pretty pleased with taking a point, it's a good performance to build on.
SystonFox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 improved performance and 1 pt is good even if we should have won, thats football!!!
City_4_Life Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Sounded like we played better then Sunderland whis is good. I feel abit dissapointed that we didnt hold on, but a draw is a good result none the less. Happy for Fryatt aswell.
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Well done lads! Let's hope Fryatt gains confidence from the goal. We seemed to stop going forward and didn't hear the names of O'Grady and Porter much after they equalised. Was that how it was or was it Barber's commentary? Read some Sunderland fans expectations - most of them expected a 4-0 win at least but we sorted that out! Onwards and upwards now please City.
chili_con_carne Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Like someone said earlier a bit of a coincidence Wesolowski returns and we play well
Floating Fox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 I can't beleive you guys...Before the game I saw a post saying they'de be happy if we lost 3-0! And we've drawn. So be happy, true we could have won but you should be happy with a point, espcially after hull. I know im buzzing now BTW i couldn't believe Sunderland got booed off.
Wils Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Im happy with this result. Sounds like the lads played well. We would have took it before the game, good to see Fryatt get on the score sheet again.

We sell ourselves short. There's no-one we cannot face head on in this division but we have to believe in ourselves, keep attacking and take our chances cos we always let at least one in.
Daggers Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 ... but still not happy. A Leicester fan on the FT forum that is happy is either undergoing therapy or is on drugs.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Interesting theory you have there DB.. Interesting but true Although I remember everybody being happy after we beat both Ipswich and Southend though
Ultra Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 A good result in the circumstances. Glad to see Fryatt's finally broken his duck for the season. Now let's carry on this form against Hereford and Colchester!
Daggers Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Well, it wasn't the win I thought we'd get, but I'm happy with the result and the reports of the performance. We all know we aren't champion contenders, and I still maintain that we'll be mid-table come the end of the season [which is what almost everyone predicted pre-season]. Roll on the mighty Colchester
Daggers Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 That plants us 20th. Oh you optimist...we're 21st!
Wils Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Slighty more confident taking on Colchester now..
Magictv Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Loving these pictures: Class, who is our No. 10?
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Been a long time coming. Great to see. Now he has to continue with it.
