filbertway Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 So everyone thinks were going to lose then
Magictv Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 first post Yeah I think we will lose to be honest, but we could win if we really go for it. Go Leicester
Wils Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 So everyone thinks were going to lose then I think most people feel theres not alot of hope...
chili_con_carne Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 3-2 to City going to be a quality match with 45 odd thousand there today. Josh low X2, Hume
SystonFox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 everyone thinks we will lose, so i am hoping for a win. they arent chelsea or barcelona. honey moon periods do end at some point, why not today? come on u blues! whoever scores 1st is important.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Was watching the Hull v Wednesday game today... there was no way we could have done any better against Hull defence with the state of our attacking line. We might actually have a chance against Sunderland tonight though.

We might actually have a chance against Sunderland tonight though. i was watching that too, wednesday attacked just as much as we did but they couldnt break down hulls 8 man defence either. roy keane has boosted sunderlands attack but not so much the back line, except for graham kavanagh as a DM but i think he is past it, and he has stupid hair.
filbertway Posted 16 September 2006 Author Posted 16 September 2006 We're capable of winning, but it depends will kelly go for a point which he seems to like doing, if he does the chances are we will concede and not score. If he goes for it we might score and knock their confidence, we just need to keep attacking.
lildave3 Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 If we can score first i think we've got a chance...but seeing as we haven't scored away from home yet, it's not looking good.
lcfc_jme Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 We aren't likely to score away from home if we continue to have 9 or 10 men behind the ball (maybe an exaggeration, but RK's tactics way from home make me wonder whether we play strikers or not). I don't ever like saying City are gona get beat, even in Premiership seasons gone by I've said we'll beat teams like Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea. But this afternoon I really can't see us doing anything, and we'd struggle to come away with 1 point.
London_Fox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Come on City...I reckon we can sneak one today!
chesterfox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 In the enigmatic way of Leicester they worry all their fans into thinking that they're crap and then shame them by pulling off a 1-0 victory - Matty Fryatt to score!!! RobKelly'sbueandwhitearmy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 The Paul Smith T-Shirt is on ( it will become offical match day wear if we win ) Going down pub with few mates who all suppourt differnt clubs so should be a laugh..... Bit of SSN! beats Radio Leicester any how (bar bar and Birch <shudders>) we're going to get a reet old kicking!
SystonFox Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 barbar and the birch, shite i forgot about that one tempted not to listen now.
lookwhaticando Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 barbar and the birch, shite i forgot about that one tempted not to listen now. At least you can listen if you want to.
Thracian Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 I don't think Sunderland would be unbeatable in normal circumstances but Keane's first home game, the recent victories and a big crowd will help the Wearsiders. However what worries me most is that Kelly sounds perfectly happy with his basic team and that defies logic to me. It's almost like an alchoholic or a druggie refusing to accept he has a problem. Until Kelly accepts we have serious weaknesses there's no way he's going to put them right. Even more worrying is that every so often he'll get lucky with his away day defensive policy and that will only encourage him to carry on regardless. Truth is Leicester might play soundly, defend resolutely but in the end more often than not they will still concede and that will mean the best we can hope for is a draw because there's no way we'd score twice with the apprroach we have. In turn, losing so many away matches - and failing to score - puts additional pressure on us to win at home which isn't helpful either. I just hope Leicester and Kelly have a real go - two halves like the first half at West Brom would help - and confound everyone by winning.
Mark Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Weso in for Low, O'Grady in for Hume. Henderson Kenton McCarthy Kisnorbo Johansson Hughes Johnson Wesolowski Porter O'Grady Fryatt
Phube Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 No Hume???? I don't get it!!! No Low... No width... Hmmmmmmmmmm
Thracian Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 YAAAY Weso starts! And O'Grady for Hume. Hughes goes wide ... he is favoured like one of the 12 disciples. They'd probably play him in goal if it was the only option. Still hope he has a blinder though.
Mark Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 No Hume???? I don't get it!!! No Low... No width... Hmmmmmmmmmm He offers nothing anyway (Low), not that Hughes will offer much more. At least Porter keeps his place. What no one has mentioned yet is that Sunderland have won just one home game in well over a year. We shouldn't be fearing them, we should be putting them under pressure, they would become nervous at home.
Magictv Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Why is it that players can have shocking games and keep their place every single week
Thracian Posted 16 September 2006 Posted 16 September 2006 Why is it that players can have shocking games and keep their place every single week Answers on a postcard please. Anyway the principle is to narrow the game.
