cisono Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 That's 'cos you take too long and don't get in there (which I tried helping you with) when you have the chance to!!! It's your own fault and I feel let down 'cos my efforts went to waste I am sure that LWICD is grateful for your efforts
lookwhaticando Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 That's 'cos you take too long and don't get in there (which I tried helping you with) when you have the chance to!!! It's your own fault and I feel let down 'cos my efforts went to waste I just wasn't ready. It all happened so quickly, it caught my by surprise... with red hands and my trousers down, so to speak. I am sure that LWICD is grateful for your efforts I am truly grateful. I've conceeded the race for cisono, TPH has clear run. Unless the Fez wants to muscle in...
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I am sure that LWICD is grateful for your efforts I should hope he is and he learns from the mistakes he has made during the rollercoaster game we endured today LWICD, lessons are: Never give up hope Always be prepared Keep your trousers done up until you have the girl, not before!!!! Never encourage more people into the race (especially people as classy as TPH and TPHH, 'cos then you'll have no chance )
Finnegan Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 'Cos I'm always ready, I won't let you out of my sight! Iiiiiiiiiiiiii'll be theeeeeeeeeere! (I'll be there!) Forever and alwaaaaaaaaays! I'm always heeeeeeeeeeeere!
The People's Hero Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT I'D BE WITHOUT YOOOOOOOU

DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 That's pretty sweet that heaps of people would have been there on that free ticket deal - not only that but it was a decent game! The Villa game is coming up... I reckon gate takings are on the up
SystonFox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 if we can do one on Leeds on tuesday we should be up for the Palace and T*YL*R reunion and then hpefully it will tempt the part timers into coming back for O'Neill and the vilers.
Libertine Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 What a game. We played really well for the most part. Two ****ing amazing goals from Hume.
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 What a game. We played really well for the most part. Two ****ing amazing goals from Hume. Aye they were from what I understand. Can't wait to see them on the highlights package or SSN. Anywhere will do
The People's Hero Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 When do they show the highlights on SSN? I've been watching it for about 6 hours now!
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 When do they show the highlights on SSN? I've been watching it for about 6 hours now! I normally see them a bit later on during the night after they stop talking about the Premiership stories and results. You're normally in the boozer when they show them .. But they do continue to show them right through til Sunday evening methinks
The People's Hero Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Well, I do have to go to the pub at some point.
lcfc_jme Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Well, I do have to go to the pub at some point. You'll probably fall through your door later tonight just as they are about to show the Citeh highlights but you'll be too sozzled to see them Best way James (I am allowed to call you that right??)
Guest Gist Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Very entertaining game today with some great goals, the only bad point was Porter not starting. Credit to Kelly for sorting it out we played much better. Bring on Leeds!
cisono Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Good game but not nice that McCarthy's nose is broken and a mess. Sounds like he may not play mid-week now.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Good game but not nice that McCarthy's nose is broken and a mess. Sounds like he may not play mid-week now. Solves a problem. Our best player is back and it'd be impossible to drop McAuley.
Mark Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Solves a problem. Our best player is back and it'd be impossible to drop McAuley. Plus the fact he always gets sent off against Leeds (home + away last season), this is probably a blessing in disguise
lookwhaticando Posted 14 October 2006 Author Posted 14 October 2006 Plus the fact he always gets sent off against Leeds (home + away last season), this is probably a blessing in disguise Good thinkin'. Personally, I'm quite excited by the prospect of a Kisnorbo/McAuley partnership.
Hullfox Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Very entertaining game today with some great goals, the only bad point was Porter not starting. Credit to Kelly for sorting it out we played much better. Bring on Leeds! No way. Porter would have been eaten alive by Ostlund the right back. Whilst Tiatto is not my favourite City player, he was the right player to start the game. Kelly was right to protect him on this occasion.
Thracian Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 No way. Porter would have been eaten alive by Ostlund the right back. Whilst Tiatto is not my favourite City player, he was the right player to start the game. Kelly was right to protect him on this occasion. Tiatto was worse than shit. He gave one goal away for free and nearly two. I doubt he'd be wanted in a good non-League side. I keep waiting to see the guy who was once player of the season but there's little sign so far.
Daggers Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 Tiatto was worse than shit. I was enjoying the fact that I was agreeing with everything you wrote of late...but what a pile of cock that is. He battled along the wing and across the centre winning balls and laying off excellent passing. His passion is always going to lend him to the odd rash act and he isn't the most graceful of players - but pleease...for someone with an excellent eye for the game, comments such as this demonstrate age-induced fading of sight. Tiatto had an excellent game. Fact. Discuss.
Daggers Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I could not have been prouder of the team than I wass today - and the noise that grew in the crowd demonstrated I was not alone...aside from the moaning twat in P2 P162 who carped his way throughout the sodding game. My only worry is that such a performance leaves us with injuries in a small squad at the start of a tough match schedule, there is no way we can do that in every game for the rest of the season.
Swedging Posted 14 October 2006 Posted 14 October 2006 I Tiatto had an excellent game. Excellent, no. Good, yes, and certainly deserving of his place and the pittance in wages we now pay him.
