Ricey Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 To be fair though, Noel does live in a dream world. He actually blames the people who open the boxes when it's an unwanted high number - like they know what amount they have. Get a grip Noel Bless him, he always bares a grudge against people who often have high numbers. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT!
Katy Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Bless him, he always bares a grudge against people who often have high numbers. IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT! Yeah! and then when someone says something that he thinks the 'banker' wont like he says 'that will go on your profile' he takes it sooooo seriously. Also Why are the audience called the 'pilgrims?'
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 October 2006 Author Posted 30 October 2006 He was joking, it was a tongue in cheek comment. He also said that these 2 shows would never ever be shown on TV. Right....thanks for that I didn't actually see the interview someone told me about it, obviously someone who can't tell when somoene is joking.
Ricey Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Yeah! and then when someone says something that he thinks the 'banker' wont like he says 'that will go on your profile' he takes it sooooo seriously. Also Why are the audience called the 'pilgrims?' ...because Noel is a bit of a snob?
Milky Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 i wish they'd stop going on about this tingle shit, and "feeling" for the box.
stez Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Yeah! and then when someone says something that he thinks the 'banker' wont like he says 'that will go on your profile' he takes it sooooo seriously. Also Why are the audience called the 'pilgrims?' because it's amusing oldy-worldy english gent speak, such as the east and west wings. having recently watched DOND-greek-style i can say noels is far superior!
Daggers Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 The Japanese version has some worms, two snakes, a giant spider and a bomb in one of the boxes apparently.
The People's Hero Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Why are the audience called the 'pilgrims?' Either they all support Boston or more likely they all turned up as the ultimate act of their pilgrimage undertaken in the name of the faith of the holy Noel Edmonds.
Daggers Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 "Come on pilgrim, you know he loves you" Pixies sang that dontchaknow.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 The Japanese version has some worms, two snakes, a giant spider and a bomb in one of the boxes apparently. We were discussing the possibility of starting one with convicts on death row. We figured you could have varying methods of death getting worst as the box "value" lowers. The banker can offer a method of death rather than a monetary value when he rings to offer the deal.
Libertine Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Don't you just love it when they all hold hands? Or when they all chant 'BLUE! BLUE! BLUE!'?
chili_con_carne Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 The worst bit is when they all wish them luck just before they open the box. GOOD LUCK I HOPE ITS A BLUE I don't i hope its a red, its more fun watching them lose winning 1p, than seeing a boring game when they win 10 or 20K. I watch it quite a lot, but if you think about it whats so great about watching other people winning money by picking and choosing numbers? Its not like who wants to be a millionaire where you can at least try and answer the questions and play along.
Guest Gist Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Don't you just love it when they all hold hands? Or when they all chant 'BLUE! BLUE! BLUE!'? Or when someone says 'this is a blue' and they pull the £250k out
Milky Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Or when someone says 'this is a blue' and they pull the £250k out yeh, i love it when all that psychic predicting crap get's blown apart
Katy Posted 31 October 2006 Posted 31 October 2006 The lightning rounds are fun Yes, and Noel hilariously calls it a 'quicky'
Ricey Posted 31 October 2006 Posted 31 October 2006 Yes, and Noel hilariously calls it a 'quicky' I wonder if at home he calls a 'quicky' a 'lighting round'
Craig Posted 31 October 2006 Posted 31 October 2006 I'm addicted. Officially. I think Noel was joking about the 250k, i mean, by saying that he's put his own reputation on the line. He had a big grin on his face when he said it too.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 October 2006 Posted 31 October 2006 I wonder if at home he calls a 'quicky' a 'lighting round' His wife is a bit confused when he asks for a slice of cheese and onion lightning round.
