Leicester City Football Club Take-Over

Recommended Posts

So now we have two people giving us two different official takeover dates  I might as well make a new username up and come on here saying he'll come out of the tunnel during a home game in November, do 3 backflips and throw £250,000 into random parts of the crowd

He'll sign and takeover, I know that much, but I'm not sure of the date :(

Anybody have more news?! :D

Why bother to make up a new name though - just do it - oh you have, so which is it Plymouth or Preston?

As would everyone else. Don't rule it out - I heard Milan was just more than somebody who will provide us with money

Right, in the true style of the others who have official word, I shall now reveal it.

" Milan Mandaric has already signed a deal with us, and he will be unveiled to us at half-time as Birch's special guest during a home game in November against a side begining with P. That's all I'm allowed to say "

;):P

And the only news I have is that Tim Storer was NOT at work at Pukka Pies today, obviously down the Walkers like.

Thanks for that. Marvellous stuff, exactly what I was looking for :whistle:

Because he's Milan Mandaric

NO! I'm Milan Mandaric!

... No, I mean Spartacus!

... No, I mean Phlashman.

Hello, long time lurker, first time poster. Season ticket holder in J Block.

Anyways, this is all good news but I think people have to remember money and success are not the same thing. Sure one helps with the other but Milan's Money won't equal instant promotion.

I hope it does but just don't hype yourselves up too much.

BTW does anyone know Milan's stance on free flags? :D

Ooo a development, Tim Storer is not in work for the next three days :bounce:

:o :o :o !!!!!! Why ever not?!?!?! :o

Front page Mockery news for sure this is :P

Hello :welcome:

Milan's Millions will not equal instant promotion, but it won't be long :P We're not hyped up too much, I mean, nobody misses the Milan Mandaric thread or anything  And nobody is over-excited at this news

Oh and btw, Milan told me he will give away free flags to everybody at his first home game in charge

Exactly. Now you're talking sense! :P

Oh yes. And thanks for providing the inside scoop

If you have any more on this shocking story (i.e. the reasons why he will not be attending) then be sure to post them here :P:yesyes: !!

I may well do after tomorrow night and don't worry, I will keep you updated on this story.

And the reason he's not attending is because he's at the Walkers

Hmm fascinating story. It'll be interesting to see the developments over the next couple of days. I'll certainly be following it with much anticipation :P Let me know how he gets on at the Walkers, that should tell us how the story ends

:o You think he'll tell me that?? He's a very secretive man you know!

I for one can't wait to be back on the football map again! It's going to be a roller coster if Milan takes over (was it seven managers at Pompey?!), but I'd take a journey over being a nothing club any day!

I can't wait for Stoke now and I've not felt like that for a while.

I'm sure you can get him to tell you what I want to hear :);) I'm counting on you to finish this story lol!!!

Not even Villa last week??:o

Ooops, the Villa match was the highlight of my year to be honest!

Aye the Villa game was immense as I'm sure everybody on here has heard from me and others many a time just lately. Check out the " Atmosphere " thread in the LCFC Forum, and you'll get a better descripition/picture :)

As for the Stoke game, it could just be an anti-climax to a very enthusiastic and lively week for us, and I reckon that we'll get a draw at best tomorrow.

COME ON MANDARIC :jump::bounce:

Couple of points.

Firstly current shareholding is just under £6.5 million not £5 million (so if the rumoured MM £25m bid included buying the stadium it wouldn't leave much for player purchases, although it would also release £1.1m from the existing budget ringfenced for Teachers). We have no official word on any bid at present.

There are real alternatives, so MM isn't a done deal. What is the best way forward the LCFC board will have to decide & then recommend to shareholders.
