Finnegan Posted 24 November 2006 Posted 24 November 2006 Pft. Mock all you want, life is good for our Gav'. He's shaggin' a top bird (let's be fair, you would), he's got skin of solid bronze and he's better than every English rugby profesional currently plying their trade.

kop king Posted 24 November 2006 Posted 24 November 2006 That's an extremely bold claim. Monty is the greater threat in terms of taking wickets but Giles is a decent bowler. Containing and frustrating. You can't play the top sides and take 4 or 5 strike bowlers. A balance is necessary. I don't necessarily think the decision is the correct one... It's a close call. Giles is the consistently decent, defensive, spin option. In this side, KP can provide an aggressive spin option. Giles is adequate with the bat and functional, no frills in the field. Dependable. Panesaar is a dangerous bowler. He gives the ball a bit more air and his use of 'flight' isn't yet as good as Giles. Giles is wilier... Panesaar just bowls the odd peach of a delivery. His fielding and batting are pathetic. Personally... I think I might still have played Panesaar. His form is arguably better. It just puts a hell of a workload on the likes of Hoggard etc if when the Aussies go after him. This is the beauty of sport though... the 'correct' option will NEVER be known. I think Monty will get his chance anyway. ] Shut up u stupid idiot you talk so much rubbish

The People's Hero Posted 24 November 2006 Posted 24 November 2006 Careful guys.. I've just realised.. this is the KING of the KOP we're dealing with. Such a powerful individual in fact that he's created his own language. Remarkably similar to Bol locks but presumably he made a few changes to avoid copyright issues.
Finnegan Posted 24 November 2006 Posted 24 November 2006 Made it himself, did he? I just thought he was trying to speak Neddish but was just illiterate.

Manwell Pablo Posted 25 November 2006 Posted 25 November 2006 106-5 Do they not relise that I don't need this shit when I get back from the pub. I'm so glad Thracian doesn't like Cricket. We'd be recieving a lecture.
lcfc_jme Posted 25 November 2006 Posted 25 November 2006 So 484 behind on 118-5 at lunch. Poor. I see Freddie "rarely bats well" Flintoff lived up to the name I gave him and didn't leave me with egg on my face. What a plank Can we not just forfeit this test and have all of the remaining time to enhance preparations for the next one??
