No club out there will match the money he is currently on, so we are stuck with him unless we agree to offset some the wages.

TAFKA Castroneves Posted 22 December 2006 Posted 22 December 2006 I don't think anyone much will go at all, maybe Stearman will be sold but I actually don't think the club will get any offers good enough to part with our good players. Rab could possibly be on his way out though now I think about it. Kelly won't get rid of people like Josh Low, Andy Welsh and Andy Johnson because of the numbers of players in our team at the moment. If we were guaranteed to bring in some with the Mandaric deal already all tied up then they possibly would, but we are not there yet. Mark de Vries will go on a free at the end of the season rather than us releasing him now, whats the point? We would have to pay up his contract, which we aren't paying at the moment.

Douglas maybe although he is still a damn good third choice keeper at this level. Low to go depending on if we sign a right midfielder. They are the obvious choices but even the weaker players may as well stick around to give us a bigger squad. Players like Sylla etc.
