Manwell Pablo Posted 4 January 2007 Author Posted 4 January 2007 Richie Barker has left Mansfield for Hartlepool, commanding an £80,000 fee. A blow for the Stags because they are struggling and he is a good striker in League 2, reliable goalscorer. Strange one that, he's had several spells at Mansfield and is a fans faviourate, £80,000 is a all right price for him though, not getting any younger thats for certain.
MC Prussian Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 also heard boa morte going west ham but no confirmation on it yet It's a done deal now: West Ham pays £ 5m for Boa Morte

Manwell Pablo Posted 5 January 2007 Author Posted 5 January 2007 My my Fulham are busy. Good deal for them five million is excessive even if he can play a bit, he's 29! Good news for Saturday he's a dangerous player. Still though.........

Mikey Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I've got some news here, some definitely true some are rumours. Real Madrid are maybe going to make a £7 Million offer for Joleon Lescott Wigan are renewig their interest in ManUnited's Alan Smith. A £6 million offer. Jose Mourinho wants to strenghten side with Jermain Defoe. Charlton have failed on getting Andy Cole. Real Madrid want Andriy Shevchenko and may part exchange Ronaldo as well. Real Madrid also set to sign Frank Ribery for £15 million. Liverpool have joined the race for Darren Bent. Value of him £15 million. LA Galaxy close to Beckham deal. Reading and Charlton both want Colchesters Greg Halford. West Ham want Shaun Wright-Phillips, Lauren (arsenal) and Joey Barton (Man City) Pompey boss lining up a £4 million offer for defender Younes Kaboul Chelsea may sign Sylvain Distin for £3 million. Although he states he wants to stay. Arsenal are ready to sell Freddie Ljunberg. Sven Goran-Erikkson may take over Marseille and wants Beckham to join him. Arsenal will ofer Adebayor a new deal to warn off Man United. West Ham will compete with Chelsea for Bolton Defender Tal Ben Haim Newcastle want Keiran Richardson. Sunderland may snatch Anthony Stokes from Charltons grasp. Gareth Bale will decide in the next 48 hours whether to join Manchester United. Like I said some may be only rumours but take notice because some might end up not being just a rumour What's your opinion on all this.
The People's Hero Posted 7 January 2007 Posted 7 January 2007 I've always been impressed by Paul Gallagher (Blackburn) - young striker. Has spent time on loan at Championship sides before. He's probably in Blackburn's top 4/5 strikers. Scored a good goal in FA cup third round, really well taken. Hard working, good feet, fairly pacey, good eye for goal. I think he'd be a good shout on loan.

However I would have thought Blackburn would be more willing to let go their other prospect Matt Derbyshire, as I presume Gallagher is further up the pecking order.

I don't he is Derbyshire has played more games (I think, will check)
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 January 2007 Author Posted 8 January 2007 I don't he is Derbyshire has played more games (I think, will check) Gallagher has had one more apperance but Derbyshire has started more games.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 January 2007 Author Posted 8 January 2007 Paul Ifill has gone to CP for 750,000.
The People's Hero Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 Gallagher has had one more apperance but Derbyshire has started more games. They are both rated as good prospects. I would have thought that they would let one go, or the other (to the right club - on loan) but not both.
RowlattsFox Posted 8 January 2007 Posted 8 January 2007 i dont think derbyshire or gallagher will be leaving on loan. with blackburn being in europe they will need the bigest squad they can. i think both of them have gone ahead of jeffers and maybe even jason roberts in pecking order.
