Head Honcho Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Not sure peterborough realise what they're buying here He's much too good for L2 or at least he was! He was cruising in L1 last season so unless his loss of form is down to something physical I see no reason why he can help Peterborough get promoted this season.

Could have sworn he was in League Two last year. Yes - he was in League Two in 05/06. He was named in the PFA League Two team of the year for the 2005-06 campaign after his driving displays in midfield had helped the Cobblers to promotion.
dandannieldanok Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Could have sworn he was in League Two last year. Correct, he left as soon as Northampton got promoted.
Sods Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 He probably won't be that bad for the posh now. But he has dropped 2 levels. he wasn't that bad at northampton. But he is never going to be a champonship player but at least he knows that know. Godd luck to him
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Good luck to him. As something of a Northampton fan, I really like the guy and hoped he'd amount to more at City.
Head Honcho Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Could have sworn he was in League Two last year. Yes - he was in League Two in 05/06. Just noticed that myself No wonder he was cruising last season
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 With the money could we go for a 'cheeky' Richard Chaplow loan bid???
Simon Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 This is the best thing Kelly's done in ages. Thank GOD he's gone
renards Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Low gone. That explains why the Leicester singer 'Roger Chapman' was wearing his club shirt whilst performing in Dec. he'd finished with it
Fox63 Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Glad he's gone...bloody awful recent performances showed him up for the player he is. He should re-establish his reputation in the lower leagues. Nice try RK but he couldn't raise his game to Championship standards.
JoeyB Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 josh low i cant belive he's gone he was by far our best player apart from the rest of the squads i will miss him sooooooo much anyway i thought a player couldnt move to 2 different clubs in the same season
Babylon Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 josh low i cant belive he's gone he was by far our best player apart from the rest of the squads i will miss him sooooooo much anyway i thought a player couldnt move to 2 different clubs in the same season they bought him, he didn't go on a bosman so it can happen.
City Fan Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 anyway i thought a player couldnt move to 2 different clubs in the same season A player can't play for 3 different clubs in the same season. Low has only played for Leicester this season.
Simi Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Great News. Can't belive we have got that much for him
JoeyB Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 they bought him, he didn't go on a bosman so it can happen. just found out on bbc didnt read it properly if they've moved after the 1st july they cant play for another that season but if they moved before they can if you get me bye bye josh low
dandannieldanok Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 I can't believe some people who have posted in this topic saying they are sad to see him go and wish him luck. I don't know whether it is sarcastic or not but I'm sure some of it is genuine. He was tosh and what made me so angry when he played was his abysmal work-rate. Yes he is not the sole reason we are in the position we are but it was as if we were playing with 10 men whenever Kelly included him in the starting line-up. It is similar to when Levien was sacked, some posters were wishing him alll the luck in the world after baying for his blood weeks earlier. I will personally be infuriated if Low suddenly begins to play well.
renards Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 I'd like to meet the scout from Peterborough who looked at Low, what a fool. I bumped into him in specsaver SORRY!!!!
Leicester Lass Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 I bumped into him in specsaver SORRY!!!! I guess he was on his way out?
Tommeh Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 very good bit of business by the club he looked ok at first but just simply hasn't quite made the step up, and has appeared dazzled by the heights of the championship compared to league 2. Anyway good luck to him
Geo V Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 I see that it has now changed to " a fee rising upto £100" so not all good. £1k now and £99k when they win the Premier!!!
Head Honcho Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 ..................is the 100k fee dependent on whether he plays for England or not?
Fox in a Box Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Posh boss Keith Alexander told theposh.com: 'We have been looking for a wide right player for some time. He is a player proven at this level, he has good ability and will improve us as a squad and that is what we are looking to achieve. 'Josh is a very good player and the type of experienced quality we are looking to bring to the club. He has been successful wherever he has been and hopefully he will be a success at London Road,' Alexander said. what did we miss then? One thing is that RK has started to AXE no starters, Sylla, Deepfreezer, Douggy, Johnno start packing your bags
The Stig Posted 4 January 2007 Posted 4 January 2007 Thanks the Lord, well done RK, best news ive heard all day
