Low sold to Peterborough

Looks like the Board were right - without the takeover being completed we would have to start offloading our best and most valuable players.

I wonder if dumping Low was a ploy by the Board to raise the value of the club and get more from MM for the shares?

:D

Back where he belongs! He's been utter tripe his whole time here and was a truly awful player to bring in, though i'll give RK (or whoever it was  ) credit for seeing him off.

Posh boss Keith Alexander told theposh.com: 'We have been looking for a wide right player for some time. He is a player proven at this level, he has good ability and will improve us as a squad and that is what we are looking to achieve.

'Josh is a very good player and the type of experienced quality we are looking to bring to the club. He has been successful wherever he has been and hopefully he will be a success at London Road,' Alexander said.

what did we miss then? :dunno:

One thing is that RK has started to AXE no starters, Sylla, Deepfreezer, Douggy, Johnno start packing your bags

Something to be cheerfull about low has gone

***I reckon there scout was going to the wrong ground when he was watching low i bet they thought they were buying Barnes from the sheep shaggers***

I can't believe some people who have posted in this topic saying they are sad to see him go and wish him luck. I don't know whether it is sarcastic or not but I'm sure some of it is genuine. He was tosh and what made me so angry when he played was his abysmal work-rate. Yes he is not the sole reason we are in the position we are but it was as if we were playing with 10 men whenever Kelly included him in the starting line-up. It is similar to when Levien was sacked, some posters were wishing him alll the luck in the world after baying for his blood weeks earlier. I will personally be infuriated if Low suddenly begins to play well.

I don't see the point of being bitter when a player who does not make the grade is sold on to another club. He will find his own level at Posh just the same way that Big Trev did. It's when players like Dickov, for example, pledges his allegiance to the club that rescued his career pisses off in the close season for a prem club. That's when you should feel bitter.

People are actually saying he is a bad signing for posh?

Good bit of busniess, will benifit both parties, we lsoe a poor player (at this level and get some money)

He can go to a level where he can make an impact and will benifit posh.

Good move RK

Selling Low and we've already reached 5 pages in this thread.

Wonder how long it's going to turn out with the other calibre.

Kenton: 8 pages?

Fryatt: 17 pages?

Hume: 42?

I'm over the moon. This is fooking great news :D Not only have we got rid of a disgracefully bad player, but we've made a bit of money off of him as well!!! Mini celebration time methinks :P:banana::dance::banana::dance:

generally good news. though we wont get 100k now more likely 25k if were lucky which will be swallowed up in the weekly losses. still probably means we are no longer over budget on the wages front by signing danny c.
