Leonisco Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 2113: GOAL Middlesbrough 3-0 Hull Yakubu slots home the penalty and that looks like game over. 2112: Penalty at the Riverside. Yakubu's shot hits the bar and Stewart Downing is bundled to the floor as he tries to get on the end of the rebound. It's now 3-2. This'll be one hell of a finish. Mark Viduka. 4-2. Jesus, it's now 4-3! What a game that sounds!

Coventry boss Micky Adams looks a broken man as he contemplates a miserable defeat to Bristol City. Career over as far as the Premier/Championship is concerned, his future lies in the 3rd and 4th divisions from wence he came!

Flynny Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 Adams isn't a bad manager. He'll be back. That's if he gets sacked which isn't quite certain.
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 Adams isn't a bad manager. He'll be back. That's if he gets sacked which isn't quite certain. Next game is at Home Park on Monday, I seem to remember another manager getting sacked after losing there about this time last year.....
Leonisco Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 Adams isn't a bad manager. He'll be back. That's if he gets sacked which isn't quite certain. I'll bet you any money he's no longer manager there by the week-end.
Cobbo Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 Adams isn't a bad manager. He'll be back. That's if he gets sacked which isn't quite certain. Yes, yes he is.
Thracian Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 Adams isn't a bad manager. He'll be back. That's if he gets sacked which isn't quite certain. I wish I could keep failing, get paid what he gets, and still keep my ticket for the footballing merry-go-round.
Milky Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 haha bumchin as for the hull game, 6 goals in 20 mins!
Nationwider Posted 16 January 2007 Posted 16 January 2007 I wish I could keep failing, get paid what he gets, and still keep my ticket for the footballing merry-go-round. But have you considered a career in the senior civil service?
Louise Posted 17 January 2007 Posted 17 January 2007 Board meeting at Cov tomorrow apparently. Sounds like Micky is gonna get his P45.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 January 2007 Posted 17 January 2007 Board meeting at Cov tomorrow apparently. Sounds like Micky is gonna get his P45. Perhaps the 'developments' hinted at here are said board meeting. But Micky isn't quitting, if anything he'll be pushed. Fantastic news... perhaps Coventry will appoint Iain Dowie so I don't have to read more Dowie for Leicester rumours. Under-fire Coventry boss Micky Adams vowed not to resign after his side's FA Cup defeat to Bristol City but hinted at future developments. Defeat to League One City made it eight games without a win for Coventry. "This is a time not to be worrying too much about myself, because all will be revealed," said Adams. "I won't be resigning. But I am not going into all that now, because it will all come out anyway, and it would be disrespectful to Bristol City." I will not quit Coventry - Adams @ BBC Sport Dead man walking by the sounds of it, then.
