lildave3 Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 It is tomorow. I'm going for Arsenal. I am also going for Arsenal, mainly out of hope. As much as i hate arsenal, i want Chelsea to win the league.
lcfc_jme Posted 20 January 2007 Posted 20 January 2007 I'm torn. On the one hand, and lwicd will not appreciate me saying this, Arsenal are my Premiership team and I love to see them doing well. They play some awesome football. But on the other hand, I want Man Utd to win the league just so Chelsea don't win it. A win for 'em tomorrow would give them a 9 point lead and I don't think Chelsea would catch 'em from there. I decided to opt for Arsenal though 'cos they're rejuvenated and 6 points is still enough of a gap

Milky Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 Why is don't really mind not an option? Or is it that by not voting that i make my choice if Man U win i won't mind too much as it will extend the lead over chelsea, but if Arsenal win i won't mind as it will open things up a little bit more.

Sure there's still pressure because of that, but if they lose they won't have lost ground, and a drw or win gains them ground. Had Chelsea won they would NEED to win, now if they win, they're just building an unassailable lead (hopefully). Still pressure, but not as much.

Leonisco Posted 21 January 2007 Posted 21 January 2007 I definitely would prefer Man Utd, like most people the only reason being that I don't want to see Chelsea win it. However, the main thing I want is for it to be a really good game full of quality and excitement, as all we ever seem to get with Manure v The Arse is a dull, tedious affair with players fighting each other and moaning at the referee all the time, which is such a shame beause both sides have fantastic footballers who are capable of so much better. As long as it's a good game, I don't mind too much who wins, although, as I said, I'd prefer United.
