Wilko sounded immense on the radio. How good is it to have him back?? :)

Great decision from the coach in the end. He took a risk and it paid off. Well done

At the end of the day, had O'Gara, Jones or Skrela produced that performance it would just be described as, maybe, 'above average' or 'ok.' Considering the time he's spent out it was impressive, don't get me wrong, and his kicking was fabulous - but let's not get too carried away, he wasn't matching winning.

Really disappointed with Scotland and Italy. I thought both would put up more of a fight than they did, Scotland's defending for Robinson's tries (poor, poor Sean Lamont) was woeful and how (or why?) on Earth the video ref gave Wilkinson's try was a matter of sheer embarrassment to technological officiating. That said, let I not be blamed for Pom-bashing, England put in a good turn (as did France;) but I'd save your ecstatic excitement for Croke Park on the 24th.

Good to see England get back to winning ways and Wilkinson back in the side.

Also Ireland beat Wales 19-9 at the millenium staduim today and Italy lost 3-39 to France yesterday.

Anyone fancy England to win it this year?

Personally I think Ireland will they are looking pretty good.

It's between Ireland and France imo.

England will be lucky to finish top two. Fierce battle with the Welsh for 3rd place.

Should have been Ellis, he was sensational. I thought Ireland were distinctly average, yesterday. Defensively they were very strong in the first half, they sat and resisted some of our fine attacking rugby for 20 odd minutes in the first, though our decision making could and should have been better.

Gutted for Czekaj, if that wasn't a penalty try (Dempsey may have covered), it should have at least been a penalty and a yellow card, shocking really. But these things happen and what angered me the most was the amount of mistakes - we played some blinding rugby and just ruined it with forward passes, crossing, knock ons and absent defending. The whole game felt like we'd thrown it away, as opposed to being blown away. I think had we done that to the French, they'd have put another 21 odd points past us.

I'm confident that if the likes of Hook can get settled and we can get the likes of Shanklin back, we can beat England and France - but there'll have to be good movement between now and then.

Agreed. Wales were the nearly men. Played some really nice stuff and then important passes were misplaced or inexplicably thrown forwards under little pressure.

Ireland looked average but pretty formidable in some ways. They stood up to be counted when Wales had good patches (mainly early on) and capitalised on a couple of Welsh defensive mistakes. Neither had the look of overall winners about them but then both looked like with a bit of work, could nab 2nd spot.

Still can't see far past French to win it.

I think next week should tell us a lot. Mainly from the results of the Scotland - Wales, Ireland - France games.

I'll be interested to see how the Irish adjust to playing a Croker Park.

I reckon Ireland v France will be a good game.

Two very capable sides.

Yup. Could also have a big say in whose actually going to end up on top of the table.

And as I mentioned, I would be interested in seeing how well the Irish do at their new ground. Could make a difference... who knows?
