Matt Posted 8 February 2007 Posted 8 February 2007 I've been so tempted to just leave at dinner today and go half a day unpaid but today after 2 weeks without work, I was given work, and I knew if I did take half a day i'd probably just spend the half day in the pub, so thought i'd stay and earn the money rather than spend the money!

Some guys built an absolutely massive snowball - must have been about 6 foot tall and it took 4 people to actually move it (although I didn't get to see what they did with it cos I had a practical assessment in biology. ) . Was absolute madness, everyone was just lobbing snowballs at anyone who walked past and at one point a load of builders doing work on the college joined in. Best fun I've had in ages. Snow is fooking great. :thumbsup:

We had half an inch last night... pathetic showing for this time of year. Still, on the plus side at least it feels more like winter than it did a month ago... especially now the canal's open for skating.
