Alexikokopops Posted 7 February 2007 Posted 7 February 2007 I was going to top my screen wash and all that jazz up last night when basically I got distracted by a phonecall from a chap who I might be renting a property from. I never did and when I remembered, it was really cold so I didn't want to go outside. I did it this morning. Then figured out something was wrong when my engine temperature shot up, it was making funny noises and my screenwasher wouldn't work (bear in mind I'd barely removed any ice from my windscreen and it was filthy anyway). I got to work though by putting the hot air on full and opening all my windows. My mate Spandog's engine overheated this morning, and the heater decided to break. We had to sit in his little ice prison for over an hour waiting for Green Flag to get there, bastards. I had a scarf wrapped around my head with two hoods up and gloves on my feet, and sat there watching Ren & Stimpy on Nickleodeon on my phone and taking pictures of the icy prison.

Geo V Posted 7 February 2007 Posted 7 February 2007 Thank god I missed the snow. I trapsed around London for most of the day and the trains and tubes were slow enough. As soon as theer is a bit of snow around it causes chaos in the city.

Work as usual for me, not much snow in Leicester and not much in the north of notts (where I work), what a let down!!

Quite a bit here 15 miles NW of Leicester, apparently Brum is really bad. Still no sign of the lift so looks like I'm going to get 20 minutes off at least
