Whilst it was snowing in Leicester earlier this afternoon, I saw a Royal Air Force Bomb Disposal Unit pull up at the old Burger King near St Georges Retail Park! :o

First impressions told me so. But I haven't heard anything about it since so I don't know what to think. Lights on it were flashing and it wasn't exactly obeying the speed limit! :o

Just taken me 45 minutes to do a journey that would normally take 5 minutes

I'm sure the whole city has decided to knock off at the same time, therefore Newport is officially gridlocked.

...dammit ~ I've just phoned the Head of IT and found out we are not Brum...but Solihull. And school is Argh! on

The South Wales contingency plan for schools in adverse weather means that every teacher who cannot get to their school must go to their nearest school.

Which begs the question wtf were 90% of kid's off school yesterday

Yesterday was the quickest I've ever got to work (apart from the time I accidentally came in a 5am - don't ask).

No one was on the roads. Everyone just took the time off.

Ironic, yesterday was the quickest I'd got to the pub for the same reason. :D

I'd been drunk the night before and obviously had been fiddling with my alarm.

I thought nothing of it being freezing and dark because it was like late October or something.

The roads were ridiculously quiet though. Then I got to work... no one was here.

I'm such a willy puller.

It's all wet here, rained at lunchtime, so it's not going to settle although it's coming down in good amounts. We'll see how it goes...
