These selections can only be in my life supporting City over the last two decades or so but I`d say Gary McAllister, Steve Walsh, Steve Claridge, Muzzy Izzet Biggest waste of money? Ric Flair Posted 16 February 2007 Posted 16 February 2007 I have just been outraged at how many people obviously don't remember Steve Walsh! Is the average age of this forum 16? I know Muz was a good servant for the club but be honest he only stayed towards the end to see out his 25k per week contract! If he was that good MON would have took him Celtic! Oh and he did agree to join BORO FFS but his agent got greedy for £750K and fooked the deal don't forget that whilst professing your love You could say the same about Walsh though. If it wasn't for his injuries, there was a good chance he was going to go to Spurs I think it was?. Walsh did most of his sterling work for us in the league we are in now, his premiership years were when he'd reached over 30 and therefore perhaps wasn't ever going to leave. Izzet was a regular goal scorer in the premiership at a young age and therefore attracted interest from bigger clubs than we are. Thankfully we got the best years out of both players and I class them both as Leicester legends, irrespective of whether they might of left under different circumstances should they of happened.

Gary Lineker ----------------------------------------------- Emile makes my top five simply because he dipped his hand into his pocket and then voted for the takeover deal...he's always welcome to pop into our house, when passing Spagetti Junction, for a cup of tea. Hughes against Colchester evoked the most venom I have ever thrown at a player during a match, for the duration of the game and the weeks following I hated him more than anything for his ineptitude on the right wing...his lack of desire to touch the ball...but no one tops Wise, and Hughes has improved from that low point. The best bargains are the free ones!
