The best thing that could possibly come out of this is that the Kop gets moved next to the away fans... I hope the club seriously considers it.

Am I dreaming too much?!

they have considered it that the thing, it was on a questionaire and there was an overwhelming majority to leave it as it is.

i belive, moving the kop wont make any difference, it wont make them sing! just make N block and maybe the one next to it the singing section...depending upon demand! for those who will sing, and will want to sing! moving the kop, no!

My big regret of the day was not getting a front on picture of a few of you holding the flag up. Perhaps I'll put it right next time out.

Cracking flag, couldn't take my eyes off it all afternoon! :D:D:D

Cheers!

If i knew who you all were i would have said hi, but just got on with the singing ;)

Will have to sit  there next week for baggies

I was playing the drum for the first 15 minutes was great fun - its good becasue you cant use it for all the songs just a few and it was just right - who were the two guys in front of my playing it for the rest of the half !?

 great stuff

I hope to see you all there again Saturday - like people have said above - I can't see it being protrayed as anything other than a huge success.

However I'll wait till I hear that we are allowed to do it.

Any ideas when this will be - do you have another meeting with the club this week?

Well in he words of James May that's C*CK!

If that were the case people would not have made a mass effort on their own backs to move to the other end of the stadium would they?

English people in general don't make a fuss or complain they just accept things, when a mass of people agree and do something fairly drastic then the feeling must be strong to take that action.

Firstly, I'd like to say thankyou again to everyone who joined us yesterday in N Block and enjoyed it. I'm glad you did and I appreciate the support, and the fact you want to do it all again makes me view the whole thing as a success. I'd also like to say thankyou to everyone who has posted congratulations since I last posted in here.:appl::worship:

I've just got off the phone with Peter Jones, and to be honest I got mixed vibes. The original point of the phone call was to see what I thought about the whole event - a success I told him naturally and gave him all of the reasons I read on here. He thinks it's good we were being heard because given the nature of the game, the circumstances and the scoreline, there was atmosphere inside the ground anyway. His words were "you'd be heard more if we were playing someone like Luton and the game was flat or we were drawing or losing". lol

Then I explained to him what my concerns were: the coin throwing and the kicking of the shutters, to which he agreed they were concerns. He didn't say it directly, but I fear that the club are also quite unhappy with the amount of standing that went on. Then there is the amount of "foul language" - apparently quite high according to him.

There will be the routine debrief tomorrow at the club where they can discuss everything about yesterdays game (the whole matchday experience not just N Block). According to PJ, there are a lot of disgruntled fans in the Family Stand section (mostly to do with the shutter kicking). He'll be in touch with them after the meeting tomorrow, and he'll also be in touch with me tomorrow to talk about this meeting and the plans for the future.

Does anyone know if the N block was full to capacity or not - I couldn't tell from where I was?

I would say over 600 in there

No idea when we will meet them, as I'm back at college this week but I'm sure Jamie will speak to his lover Peter Jones some time this week

I can understand those two points 1. the standing and 2. the foul language.

However I stood at the top row PP next to three stewards and they never once ask me to sit down

But wasn't the shutter kicking the Cov fans? So how would that count against us?

Looks like we need to wait with a tight intake of breath untill tomorrow

The shutter was only kicked twice maybe and that had nothing to do with us.

The club also didnt keep their part of the bargain and put the shutters down into the family stand.

Tell him to **** OFF! lol

Thell them to suck eggs as there are kids there i spoze.

Crazy! If they thought any trouble was going to happen yesterday! If there was it would have been from COV as they were the ones throwing coins and the ones asking to go outside!

Bad language at a football match? It's in our song FFS have they never been before? Do these people actually know or remember that the football traditionally is a working class sport where the mostly men and his mates go for a satdi afternoon to enjoy themselves. :o

That is LCFC's customers aswell as the family stand so it would be very bad to discriminate one for their actions and not one for theirs!

I may write to the club and state how disgusted i am with the amount of silence and lack of acivity and support from those who claim to be fanatics! I will try to get them banned or at least moved away from my surroundings! :P

The stewards didn't ask anyone to sit down because it wasn't part of their job yesterday - I believe that task belonged to me and Standupandsing...

The shutter kicking was the Cov fans, but can count against us because we were put next to the family stand and it could have been quite worrying for the younger children who had turned up and were in the concourse area at the time.

The shutter was only kicked twice maybe and that had nothing to do with us.

The club also didnt keep their part of the bargain and put the shutters down into the family stand.

The shutter was kicked much more than twice mate - I was in the concourse area all of half time at the kiosk next to the shutters - I know this.

As for the club shutting off the family stand from N Block, they said they weren't going to do it this weekend but would do in future were it to happen.

Strong stuff kilworth

But I do agree with a lot of what you say - everything the club are moaning about should be expected.

Somehow telling him to fook off would get me nowhere I think lol.

The club clearly do expect there to be bad language involved with certain songs, as the man who gave me the drum before kickoff explained to me. However, if Season Ticket Holders in the Family Stand complain about it, then I'm afraid in all fairness they have to deal with the complaint and at least discuss it with both parties to come to a conclusion/solution.

They know Cov were causing trouble and we weren't - that isn't in dispute. They're just concerned with the amount of complaints regarding swearing and complaints regarding the behaviour of Cov fans at half time. That's all. I'll know more tomorrow. :)

Exactly you have hundreds / thousand of two sets of opposing rival fans and you get swearing and shutter kicking and some are making a fuss! Tell you what the police would have bitten your hand off if that was to be the amount of trouble at any game let alone a local derby where one side gets ROYALLY THUMMPED!

3 - 0!

Also i as you know Jamie was with you when the shutter kicking happened and it was 5 times max and the stewards were not worried in the slightest as they had 1 guy standing there and he didn't blink an eye lid! The retaliation was singing 3 - 0 to the Leicester boys OUTRAGEOUS!

Yeah the club have to be fair to both side of the arguement! Your ace as it were is that the club want a better atmosphere which P J must believe after yesterday we will help produce.

The family stand must be full of old bats and beggers if they are willing to complain about swearing in football songs! Every set of fans swear in songs its the nature and background of most of the games fans.

I believe from the comments you have made that there is little to worry about here. In my mind the club know swearing is inevitable, so therefore they will have to explain this to the family stands occupiers, if they want peace and quiet there is plenty in the east and west stands.

Jones does believe that we will help produce atmosphere, a comment he made shows that.

The Family Stand is exactly what it says on the tin: family stand. Whether it's full of old bats and beggars or not, they're trying to shield their children from the "monstrosity of the football" and on a Saturday afternoon - that's why the isolated themselves from the Kop.

With the people complaining being Season Ticket Holders, the club will treat them like royalty, and will not completely dismiss them at all. I think it's going to be a case of damage limitation and improvise on the clubs part. Like I say though, I will know more for everyone tomorrow.

wasn't it him who said make n1 the singing section, and say to him wot you going to do if we do it without your consent,

or go to manderic

To be quite honest I can't see why the family stand can't just be moved into the corner of west stand or somewhere else. Plenty of space.

can't see why we have a family stand nearly all of the stands are packed with family's

You were warned about this from the start on here from alot of folk that if there was swearing in the ear shot of the family stand there would complaints, its expected tbh with some of the folk that go to football these days, but in fairness it is a family stand at the end of the day, and they sit there to avoid this sort of thing.

Its great in my view that the 600 odd have made an effort and i just hope the club don't pull the plug as do the majority.

Anybody going Burnley on tuesday night, i'll probs be there for a good sing song.

yes but if they say they want us out of the family stand we can say to the club you get the family's out of the kop then

We asked for N1 and were told this was the best place to be situated. True. I'll wait to see what the meeting tomorrow throws up, and I'll make a snap-decision on my feet tomorrow in relation to what we're going to do. I'm not sure going to Milan would do much, as if the H&S people are against it, he cannot exactly overrule them I wouldn't think.

The without consent thing is a strong possibility should the club refuse to take the idea further, though that could also cause problems.

Also true. I will explain this if he pulls the plug because the families are offended by the behaviour. As I have said before, what's the point in having a Family Stand when the Under 8's option is available to the entire stadium, and there are many families sat in both the Kop and L1?
