As a few people have already stated we are all City fans so why all the kop vs N block rubbish, as I have previously said in an earlier thread the N block idea is a good one and I applaud the lads who made it happen, I was at the meeting when they presented their idea and was very impressed by their enthusiasm and the way they conducted themselves on the night, I think our stadium does not have very good acoustics or noise retention, so with the distance between N and the kop, coupled with the noise your area is making it is understandable that we can`t hear eachother that does not mean we are not giving our all for the lads, it is unfortunate that a few undesireables infiltrated the N block and caused the club problems I really hope this does not deter them from continuing the experiment, well done to all our fans today and to the team too, it was a great day for LCFC !!!

apologese if this has been covered, but i can't be arsed reading the whole 11 pages, but who was on drums? i could hear that from the kop quite a bit, but the kop was also quite loud yesterday.

I think a key point in all of this is being missed, surely the most important aspect is that the customer (fan) gets value for money. If all those in the N block felt that value of their purchase was enhanced by being in the N block and part of the atmosphere created in there then it was successful.

If by doing so the also helped all or one of the following, the team play better, the manager feel supported and other fans enjoyment then that is a bonus.

By the sounds of it those in N block had a fantastic time therefore by my definition that makes it successful.

PS Due to other circumstances I ended up in block G2 East Stand / Kop corner, usually in E1.

I thought the Kop sounded pretty loud when they sang, couldn't see or hear L1, but that's not surprising considering the relative location, As for N block They could be heard quite a lot and visually were very active. As for were I was :yawn::yawn:

At the outset I want to say 'very well done' to all of you involved in setting up N-block. For what it is worth, I really think it worked and would be a crying shame if it is not allowed to continue.

Needless to say I heard you all as well as you all heard the Kop...but that is irrelevant, everyone on the pitch would have heard us all - it must have been fantastic for them to now have chants coming from three sides.

Let's not be having any stupid comments like:

L1 looked good Kop was just clapping

...because we were all making noise, we were all supporting our team. We are all very aware that the acoustic dynamics of the stadium prevent noise from translating from end to end - and 'my section sings louder than your section' is just infantile.

I would imagine that N-block will start to attract more people to the section as a result of the game yesterday - maybe the spirit of the Kop will relocate even if it remains in place physically.

Well done everyone. :D

There could be a Foxestalk group on Myspace and the like.

LWICD has set up a Facebook page.

Stop being the funny man. Your coming across as a fanny....

You are an arse, Aeropars. Knocking a group of people for attempting something positive? Seems weak minded to me.

are people going in N block next saturday for west brom? for me yesterday the thing i liked most was not havin moaning old farts telling me to sit down :D

I was gonna say this.

Are people just gonna sit in N block regardless of what the club says now? I mean... what can they do other than not lay on the drum?

My first post in this thread.

I'd like to say a MAJOR thankyou to everybody who turned up in N Block today and helped make the atmosphere as awesome as I have experienced inside the Walkers. Without you lot, the idea wouldn't have taken off. You're all great. Thankyou all very, very much and we hope to do it again some time.

Disappointed to have the drum taken from us, but that's life. Cov fans were targeting it with coins, and that's never a good sign. We'll have a bigger, louder drum next time around though so I'm told. ;)

I was even hit by a coin in the second half - not impressed.

Still, it was fooking great to be stood throughout singing for near enough 90 minutes and singing loudly at that. Learn the words to "When You're Smiling"!!!!

Once again though, thanks a bunch lads you were brilliant today.

Nah, without you it wouldn't have taken off - you and Standupandsing (and anyone else who was involved that I've missed) were the only ones prepared to get off your arses and do something, and now everyone's benefitting from it.

Well done. :worship:

On what grounds? Too much fun?

As Jamie has said they can do this if they didn't like the idea for whatever reason they want. There wasn't any problems execpt the drum been targetted with coins. But I can't see the club having a major problem with it.

Well if the club didn't like the idea (if violence was involved, which it wasn't) and they told andy and jamie it will never be done again. But we carried on being in the n block than they have every right to close the block.

But i don't think this will happen as the feedback has been brilliant and the club should see this as well

i have not seen or heard one person in N block who hadn't enjoyed their experience yesterday, and for that, it should be there for WBA. i couldnt believe it walking up to my seat at 2:25 and there was singing!!!!! thoroughly enjoyed the day, and if it is there for WBA i can garantee you, i'll be there

My big regret of the day was not getting a front on picture of a few of you holding the flag up. Perhaps I'll put it right next time out.

Cracking flag, couldn't take my eyes off it all afternoon! :D:D:D

I think Davie has said it well:

Everyone that were in N block enjoyed the day, and that's what matters.

I would love to go back there for WBA game but I'm unsure of what the club will say.

I think our fans we're great. I mean getting coins thrown at us as well as beer bottles and not throwing anything back was good and I will show this to the club. I don't think we invited the trouble either. No trouble at H/t either which was good - Just cov fans bashing the shutters which was met by a chorus of leicester songs and that all died down quickly!

The only thing the club can do to stop us going back there on our own accord is by stopping ST holders relocating. And/or block off the area.

I hope the drum is back for the next game

Jamie was told we're having a bigger drum for the next game.

I quite liked it!
