Leonisco Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 How did the first game work? Was the atmosphere good? It was very good - sang pretty much all game and we even had the rest of the family stand joining in at one point. This HAS to be done again for the next game. Royston. Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 I'm not having a go as I dont sing myself but I couldnt hear N block that much. I'm in the kop. Where was the drum, I heard that but it sounded like it was at the back of the kop.

Stuliasz Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 I thought the group of lads in N block made a massive difference first half today. Really got the rest of the crowd going and the whole place just seemed to have more of a buzz. Well done guys.
Leonisco Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 what was the kop and L1 like? L1 looked pretty decent although they didn't join in with the "We're the North Stand over here" chant. I'm not having a dig but I couldn't hear the Kop at all, although the whole of the top row was standing.
mat_j101 Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 Yep i thought it worked well. But also agree that the drum wasnt loud enough. I dont know how you just make a drum louder though!!!

Loake Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 couldn't hear the kop much but could tell they were singing, N block was great and L1 were good also. Did the drum get taken away?
Unabomber Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 From N block it looked like the kop were silent. Im usually in the Kop and N block is far far better for some atmosphere, and have to mention the fact that we were able to stand throughout the game. Deffo same again next week. Tommeh Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 N block was very good today, starting as it means to go on, never stopped singing, and tbh who cares if the Kop can't hear us, the away fans can, L1 can and Rob Kelly certainly can L1 looked good Kop was just clapping and family stand was certainly joining in with chants from N1 which was great to see. Glen_lcfc Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 N block was great. Sang all game chants were going off all over the place. I was banging the drum for the first 15 mins but at half time the stewards took the drum off us "for our own safety" apparently the cov scum were coin throwing. great day though and great atmosphere - big the row PP and OO massive. THIS HAS TO BE DONE NEXT GAME was N block full?

john_lcfc Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 brilliant atmosphere i must add, around 350 in N and L1 standing singing none stop either side of the away fans made for a top notch atmosphere. i wonder what the club made of it and do we care? It's really encouraging because we have loads who want to sing all game long but there seem to be so many who are happy to moan or clap politely. Keep the passion going!!! Bluefoxtim Posted 17 February 2007 Share Posted 17 February 2007 View from the kop... heard NOTHING from N block but knew when they were singing through standing and waving etc. Thought the drum was awful! Everyone around me were saying "where's this singing section then?"
