I think McAuley.

To step up two divisions and perform the way he has in his first season is quite an acheivement I think.

Thats not the question, has he been the best performer for this club this season.

I think he has. It was between him and Kisnorbo and because he's made the step up I chose him.

I didn't! I haven't voted yet :D

My choice would be Kisnorbo and Porter for Young Player.

Ditto.

Kisnorbo has been solid, he's only missed a few games and he's captained the side for about half the season.

McAuley's done well but he's not featured anywhere near as much as the similarly solid Kisnorbo.

Porter must surely win Young player at the minute... he broke into the first team and kept himself there. 'nuff said.

I think its out of Kisnorbo and McAuley.

I went for Kisnorbo just because he has played more games and has been one of the most consistant players for us this season.

Went for Porter for the young player of the season.

Although Kisnorbo's goals have been important to us ;)

But i'll stick with McAuley.

McAuley has been excellent this season, I can see why some people would go for him.Kisnorbo though just keeps going from strength to strength and must be close to being premiership class. 7 goals in 30+ games for a defender is exceptional and some of those goals have won us vital points.

I don't want to get too excited, but I can't think of 2 better free transfers we've had in defence.

It just shows sometimes it isn't all about money.

When you look at Fryatt who cost the most I think, he has been arguably one of the worst players this season.

Porter gets my vote for young player of the season.

He has shown what he's capable of this season and has had a better run of games compared to the rest.

Kisnorbo and Porter.

Kisnorbo as player of the season so far as he has been solid enough in defence despite RK mixing up his central defensive partner or regular occasions. His goals have been invaluable too and he has earned International recognition as he progresses. The days of hearing fellow fans call him shite not long after joining us seem like a distant echo now!

Its a litlle dissapointing that we are meant to have too many youngsters and not enough experienced players at LCFC and the quality of player on offer as our young player of the season is below average. Porter has done well, Weso is hit and miss and still looks like the serious injuries he has suffered arent completely out of his head (or body!), Stearman hasnt played anywhere near enough games, COG was punted out, our succesful youth team havent managed to get anywhere near the first team, Fryatt like Stearman has gone backwards this season and Logan who is a bright spark gets dropped when playing well.

McCauley and Porter for me.

The centre backs work in tandem and McCauley functions better than paddy mac by a country mile. For me McCauley hasn't had a bad game and reads it so well.

His distribution is better than Kisnorbo but his pace is a little slower. The communication between Hendo/Kisnorbo and Paddy mac was found wanting several times esp in Fulham game. This isn't an issue with McCauley in the centre. As a combination they have a great long term potential and I hope they are both good enough for the prem.

It was a close thing but for me the passing, positioning and anticipation plus the communication just edged it over the pace and goals of Paddy K.

The young player issue is a total no brainer.

Gareth McAuley just shades it for me. Kisnorbo has been an absolute rock and I very nearly went for him, but I never look at things he does and think 'wow', and I do on occasion with McAuley. So cool and collected and calm.

paddy kisnorbo for me has been one of the best players of the season because my mate alex has got im on the back of his shirt. :D and levi is clearly the best young player

I think we can blame McCarthy for that more than RK himself.

After al, RK didn't make McCarthy get injured and/or suspended.

Mind you... McAuley could also be blamed too, perhaps... getting himself sent off and allowing McCarthy back into the team. ^_^lol

I blame RK for naming Paddy Mac captain and refusing to drop him! :D

Kisnorbo. The amount of goals he get's from the back is sensational. Alot of the goals have been crucial to us and I think without him we would be in big trouble.

McAuley has also been great this season and made a good partnership with Kisnorbo.

Levi obviously for young player.
