lostsole89 Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 The referee lost us 2 points, we should have been awarded a penalty in the second half where alan Maybusy was obstructed and fouled in the penalty area. Also he gave nothing positive to Leicester and ignored blatent fouls on our players, i seriously think the FA should check who there giving refereeing licences too.

If your on about when the ball came to Maybury and he was gonna shoot, and it looked as if, if he did shoot he'd score, it was definetly a free kick but i'm almost certain it was in the Penalty Area. The F.A won't do anything, your forgetting Referee's can do no wrong!
lostsole89 Posted 24 February 2007 Author Posted 24 February 2007 i admit the penalty decision AGAINST Mayb's in the first half was right but he blatently missed the second, everone in the kop could see it, i think he was wearing his Baggies tinted glasses.

Rennie pranced about as usual wanting to be the centre of attention. He consistently made a catalogue of poor decisions. Is it just me or does there seem to be more flow to a game when lower league refs take the game?
AyewJoking Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 The FA are a bunch of fúckwits. They will never do anything about referees no matter how bad they are. Its a complete joke, Rennie was either cheating or just plain stupid.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Hes an awful ref and shouldnt even be in the conference - Im serious he shouldnt!!!
dandannieldanok Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Anyone notice how fat he was? He barely broke into a short jog or trot throughout the game.
lildave3 Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 He was shocking i agree but 1 vs 1 was fair in my book Same

Said on RL it was defo outside the area and the ref was spot on in that respect but they did conceed it was a freekick. Obliviously you were there and saw it more clearly though.
Guest Gist Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Maybe he was doing it because we got on his back so soon
Leicester Lass Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Anyone notice how fat he was? He barely broke into a short jog or trot throughout the game. Matty Fryatt didn't play
lostsole89 Posted 24 February 2007 Author Posted 24 February 2007 Matty Fryatt didn't play Matty Fryatt's injured.. by the look of it its never going to heal, he's been out forever!
diggler Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 I heard a story that someone asked him for an autograph once, and he got a wad of posed (a la Venture Photographers), ready signed photos out and gave them one.
Harpenden Fox Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Rennie pranced about as usual wanting to be the centre of attention. He consistently made a catalogue of poor decisions. Is it just me or does there seem to be more flow to a game when lower league refs take the game? Completely agree. We go to football to watcher footballers, not overweight pie jockeys who weren't given sufficient maternal attention and now need to prove their own self importance. I knew he'd try and be centre of attention, and he was. Awful, awful awful referee Still a great game though
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 He is just a sh*t ref all round. Not just on our part, he gave us some strange decisions as well. c0ck.

Rennie was shit
Leonisco Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 Disgusting performance, although the people who employ him must be even more stupid if they've not sacked him by now.

Rennie was shit as it was noted before, theFA wont do jak about teh referee because "there never wrong" i think u should have to take a test every year to see if ur fit to referee at the highest lvl, send Rennie to the Conference!
syston_fox Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 The only decision he got right was to give WBA a penalty in the first half. I think we should have had two and I also think Horsefield was very lucky not to get at least a yellow for his elbow on McShane. Rennie just didnt let the game flow.... but I think thats down to the fact that if he'd flowed, he'd have had to try and keep up and lets face it, he isnt in his physical peak is he?
Ajax Treesdown Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 as it was noted before, teh FA wont do jak about teh referee because "there never wrong" i think u should have to take a test every year to see if ur fit to referee at the highest lvl, send Rennie to the Conference! Didn't know we had members who wrote in Urdu.

The Conference you'd keep him that high!!!
lostsole89 Posted 24 February 2007 Author Posted 24 February 2007 The Conference you'd keep him that high!!! fine.. pub leagues would probably suit him, players are 'ard and would teach him a thing or 2 about the game..
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 On the bright side he might get relegated to League One (not for the first time) off the back of this game. He really is a shocking ref.
Guest Gist Posted 24 February 2007 Posted 24 February 2007 He got us the only two league wins under Levein though But he still is a shocking ref.
