The People's Hero Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 RHCP and WAS interest me. That's about it, like.
OBO Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Rubbish. They only ever announce the good acts after the weekend tickets are all sold out though. If a couple more good bands get announced on the Arcade Fire/Bloc Party/We Are Scientists day that would probably be worth going to. I'd kind of like to see the Smashing Pumpkins again, but would approach with extreme caution.
C-man Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Disappointed. I got my tickets on the Advance pre-sale weekend last September, thinking there would be a better line-up than that
Libertine Posted 20 March 2007 Author Posted 20 March 2007 Not great but still some gooduns. SP, NIN, Kings of Leon, Interpol, Maximo Park, Arcade Fire, Ash, RHCP, WAS. I'd be interested in seeing all them.
Joe. Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 I don't think it's that bad really. Could be a lot worse...
Craig Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 It's alright. And that isn't the full lineup anyway. Still got the carling stage to be announced yet, and that's where i spent most of last year. I'm sure it'l be incredible
filbertway Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Well just ordered my leeds weekend ticket, with coahc travel from leicester included £180. Looking forward to it
Trumpet Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Should be going Reading, as a few lads at my brothers work bought spares
Finnegan Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 Other than the Bordello (again) I ain't fussed, tbh. Donnington has THE CRUE, so I'll be there.
Sods Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 I dont think its that bad, defo not as good as last year though lost prophets are there though
Deathside Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 Naught to get excited about BUT...Concrete Jungle / Lock-Up stage hasn't been announced yet.... Due to Turbonegro playing at Donnington, Mrs Deathside has announced that we shall be going to Download as well as Leeds (Subject to finding some quids for tickets)
Nationwider Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 I'm going to ask if they'll let me into Leeds for a fiver if I promise only to see LCD Soundsystem and Interpol, and then leave quietly for an early night.
C-man Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 Pleased that The Klaxons and The Twang are playing. The saturday has a quality line up
The People's Hero Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 I'm going to ask if they'll let me into Leeds for a fiver if I promise only to see LCD Soundsystem and Interpol, and then leave quietly for an early night. I missed Interpol. I'd consider going but I don't think I'm cool enough or young enough for these drug festivals.
PAULCFC Posted 22 March 2007 Posted 22 March 2007 RHCP,ASH and Bloc Party are the only one that intrest me.Remember seeing ash when travis were on the main stage at leeds a few years back.Same year the manics, run dmc and greenday played.
Finnegan Posted 23 March 2007 Posted 23 March 2007 Interpol are arguably the most boring live band. Ever. Even if you love 'em on record, you aren't missing anything really.
