Joey's uncle Posted 1 April 2007 Share Posted 1 April 2007 According to Icelandic newpaper Bladid today, Leicester have invited 16 year old Icelandic striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson from HK Kopavogur on trial in two weeks time. He plays for the same club as a player, Aaron Palomares, Leicester were on the verge of signing last summer but the player suffered a bad injury so Leicester but the stops to that transfer. They are infact strike partners.

Joey's uncle Posted 1 April 2007 Author Share Posted 1 April 2007 you know much about him? He's very good, there are many clubs after him apparently. He is now training with Ajax in Holland but will travel to England and Leicester in two weeks.

lookwhaticando Posted 1 April 2007 Share Posted 1 April 2007 If he is training with Ajax why the hell would he want to come to Leicester? Perhaps he'd rather play in England? Perhaps he's just trying to raise his profile a little? Perhaps he doesn't expect to get to Ajax... perhaps he will get the chance but would prefer to start off lower in the ladder with a better chance of first team football? How come a highly rated Arsenal winger ended up at Millwall?

Well he scored 18 goals in 6 games for his club. But I'm not sure if that was at U19's level or first team Well it's a good record anyway.
