The People's Hero Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 oh my God...Leicester fans hit a new low - Ripping apart their own home grown players out of spite just so they can feel good about themselves...beautiful.I bet Dodds feels on top of the world right now. There's no need to such spiteful attacks against a lad who's given a large part of his growing up years to the club. You really don't get the dynamic of this place do you? You can either take it all with a pinch of salt and learn to laugh or you'll just become bitter and screwed up inside. Either that or just pretend everything is ok and that Elvis Hammond, Levi Porter and Louis Dodds are the answers to all our problems. Your choice.
Hullfox Posted 10 April 2007 Author Posted 10 April 2007 Ha. Ha. Ha. Good one! If Thracian had posted a thread had he scored, everyone would have moaned and it'd be shut inside 6 hours. Unless he's absolute shit or scores a hatrick, I couldn't give a flying fook about how he's doing. One side's gotta rise above it and I'd hoped it'd be this one. Why look at the thread then? Your expectations of "this side" are waaaaaayy too high.
Hullfox Posted 10 April 2007 Author Posted 10 April 2007 oops i'm that excited my fingers are losing control
Stevosevic Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 what can we say? the lads a bit special! Thracian knew all along
moseeds Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 You can either take it all with a pinch of salt and learn to laugh or you'll just become bitter and screwed up inside..... I think supporting city requires a sense of humour.
filbertway Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 I think supporting city requires a sense of humour. Who do you support then?
Thracian Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 See the saviour was subbed at half time today. You love to persist but a) no-one has called him or even suggested he's the saviour and b) Even people like rooney have been subbed in their time never mind Dodds. I appreciate that you probably feel you're brilliant at your work and never have an off day but then we don't know who's judging the standards, do we?. Bottom line is I think it is pretty pathetic that a so-called fan should wallow in the possibility that of one of the club's most promising youngsters should be having a rough time. Do you ever have a good word to say about our your players? If so I can't remember any. But retain your cynicism all you like. I've seen Dodds enough to know that however he's playing at Rochdale - and he seems to be selected often enough for someone you suggest is playing badly - I would be delighted to have him in any squad of mine and our Plymouth performance is hardly likely to change my mind. It's called having faith really - and I would rather have faith in a number of our young players than a good percentage of the rabble that's turning out for us these days and has now completed eight games without a win. Has Dodds' team lost about twice in 10 or thereabouts?. You go your way and I'll stick to the young players thanks.
Thracian Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Spot on. Don't you go anywhere without Hullfox these days? You're about as predictable as Leicester's results.

You've got it in one Moseeds. with fans like them it's a wonder any youngster would want to join Leicester. and it's not just Dodds. It's an anti-youth alliance - yet one mention by MM of bringing in more experience and our team has plummeted down the League faster than diarrhea after an enema.
The People's Hero Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Don't you go anywhere without Hullfox these days? You're about as predictable as Leicester's results. Brilliant. 11,202 posts about how great Dodds/Hammond/Porter/Sheehan/Logan are and you accuse me of being predictable. Besides, it's not just myself and Hullfox who find your constant spouting on about them boring.
The People's Hero Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 I would be delighted to have him in any squad of mine and our Plymouth performance is hardly likely to change my mind. Would have sworn that Porter and Wesolowski played. Or have they fallen off their pedestals now too?
Flynny Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 Boring Thread!!!! Not so much boring as 'done to death'.

Either that or just pretend everything is ok and that Elvis Hammond, Levi Porter and Louis Dodds are the answers to all our problems. Your choice. Elvis, Porter and Dodds, seeing you're asking. No Hammond in our current side = no speed, no strength and no threat. And the outcome in not having him was there to be seen in glorious technicolour at Plymouth as it has been on many occasions when he's been missing. Hammond is no superstar - it's only the wind-up boys pretend that's been said. But we're a damned sight more effective with him than without. As for maintaining my own stance where judging sportsman is concerned that doesn't bother me a damn. I've done it for much of my life in one sport or another and finished more than happy with the results.
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 April 2007 Posted 10 April 2007 I'll say something nice about Louis for a change. He would of scored that chance that Horsfield some how managed to miss yesterday. Geoff you are old and crap goodbye.
