Bottles of Brahma - Brazillian beer

Pints of Staropramen - When in Prague, or the lizard lounge (Nottingham)

Usually though because I'm a poor student its Strongbow. Cheap, good for pre-drinks. Plentiful in bars.

I am a wuss and only drink smooth. Dark is too much for me. :(

Anyway, Staropramen, Budvar, Pilsner, Peroni - I've got class me.

Staropramen, Hoegaarden, Brahma, Castle, Kronenbourg Blanc are all big favourites for me.

Bottles of Desperados - lager with tequila - is also pretty special, although quite difficult to come by unfortunately

I forgot Franziskaner - a fine german white beer, again a little difficult to find in this country but Time Bar has started selling it in bottles :bounce:

If it must be lager, I tend to drink bottles Becks/Carlsberg.

I could have been spotted over the Easter break with a corona or two though and even 'enjoyed' a few of those ones with a shot in.... 'sol'?

there is a differance between ale and beer. forget what exactly it is. have a book on the history of British beer drinking. The tax was first put on beer to make people drink a certain type. It used to be only drank by kings and the upper class. Mead and porter was once the popular drink.

If you want info google it I have to go work soon.

You couldn't beat a pint of Carling Premier - apparently making a comeback but they do sell it in the Looking Glass on Braunny Gate, or a bottle of Tooheys New from Oz.

I don't think many of the "domestic" beers.... because they all taste like piss.

That rules out crap like Canadian & Blue for a start... as well as Bud, Keith's, Miller, and so on and so forth...

I don't mind the occasional Rickard's Red, that's quite a nice brew.

I prefer my beer to be imported, like. Bass and Guinness are two regularly purchased bevies. I also drink Strongbow occasionally, though that's not exactly beery.

Special mention to Stella, Carlsberg Red, Pedigree & definitely Old Speckled Hen.

Love the Old Speckled.

Top three would be Old Speckled, Guinness and Bass... the rest follow. No particular order, really.
