potter3 Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse. Is anyone watching it? On BBC 1, it's quality
Flynny Posted 13 April 2007 Posted 13 April 2007 I expected it to be dire. Much of it was average, but the occasional bit was absolutely inspired. Nelson Mandela doing adverts for alcopops that 'get kids wankered', and Laurel and Hardy doing brokeback mountain. Now for QI. When did Friday night TV on the BBC get good again?

Yeah, but the bad bits were still well done. The Edge: I learned 2 new chords. Bono: Brilliant, now put that with the other two and we'll wring another 10 albums out of it.

Shame it was so hit and miss, I was expecting more from Mr.Fast Show. Like Stez, I'll be watching next week too...hell, there's bugger all else on.

kylecoare Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Actually found myself getting bored during this, used to enjoy both Enfield and whitehouse but this seemed forced and dull, Maybe better is to come.
Guest Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Enfield was holding him back. Whitehouse and Higson were the brains behind Enfield's earlier work, to be fair.
Jay Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 it had it's moments to be fair but looked a bit dated imo
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 I thought it was good, obviously not as good as the fast show but it's much better than most of the stuff thats on TV these days. I miss Red Dwarf and Black Adder
Leicfox Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 It was alright, far better comedy value than Harry Hill though.

Milky Posted 14 April 2007 Posted 14 April 2007 Didn't laugh once. Very disappointing. I actually felt uncomfortable/embarrassed at certain points.
