Unit Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 went turkey in the first week of the easter hols, all inclusive, then im off to spain for a week at the end of june with me mrs, and there's a chance i'll be in spain for 7 weeks through the summer because her sisters a holiday rep and has a spare apartment.

Weather was great and so was the evening shows!! also had footie on every night off to Brittany in France at the end of august! not happy becasue i miss more City games

Nationwider Posted 19 April 2007 Posted 19 April 2007 A week in Memphis followed by a week in Orlando (in what will hopefully be a frickin' awesome villa). Unfortunately, I'm going to be away for the last Sunday of the Champo season, but thanks to the wonders of satellite TV, I'm hopeful (I've been promised) I'll get to watch Jeff Stelling with Elvis Presley on Sunday 6 May. Then going to the Lakes in June for a week. Plans for a week-long bender on the south coast in August are afoot too. I have soooo much leave to use up. It's great! But not for my bank balance.

Went back in 2000 or thereabouts. Nice place, but the brick floors were too fcuking hot to walk on thanks to the scorching heat we had while there (the lowest daytime temperature we saw was about 32 - and even overnight it never dipped below about 25). Even I got a tan after a few days there. Then going to the Lakes in June for a week. Any lakes in particular?

Went there years ago with the Mrs. There were some very dodgy night clubs and bars with blow up dolls fixed to the walls and old fellas hanging around. Found a good place to eat away from the beach and main bar area up towards the main road, it was full of locals. We hired a car and ripped up and down the coast Vilamoura was a good place to go for a drink at night. Big Marina there with bars around it. Carvoeiro was my fav beach. Its a small fishing village with a beach surrounded by cliffs and goog places to eat. Spent a holiday there when I was a kid too. Good place. We enjoyed it.
