Finnegan Posted 1 May 2007 Posted 1 May 2007 I got into a huge, angry bubble of rage reading the last two pages. I wrote out a lengthy essay and ended up quoting about six or seven different snippets. But I just royally can't be arsed. Some people may as well just be left to their ignorance and I'm just thankful they aren't the majority. I'm working on the assumption most of the offenders will just grow out of it. I hope.

Well at least David G can no longer have sly lil digs at me for changing my name loads back in the day - Disco-bobulated-dave-lemond has successfully beaten me in just under a year, the post whoring whore

I may not have been affected by any immigrants... but I am myself an immigrant here in Canada. Nobody seems to mind, we pay plenty in taxes. We put into the system more than we take out. I suppose we're not the kind of immigrant people dislike, though, as we're not a drain on the system.

What with the doctors, nurses, dentists and businesses that provide help care and sevices all over the country. For anyone to say they hate a certain group of people because of where they come from is ludicrous. Would you hate one of these people if they saved yours or a loved one life in the course of their work at a hospital. People are too quick to put whole communities into the same pigeon hole. Theres not enough room. Let them have their own pigeon hole then you can sort the good from the bad more easily. Its nearly 4 oclock so the above may not make sense but I doubt that it would make a differance to some anyway. My head hurts with banging it against a wall.

Clothing that could hide something (veil, hoody ect) should only be an issue where a uniform is nessesary, at airports or at sensitive locations (ie Parliment). I agree. If pasty white girls with more lard than Asda could stock are allowed to wander our streets in mini-skirts and low-cut crop-tops two sizes too small, then Muslim women should be entitled to wear a veil. How one can be offensive and not the other, I don't know.

And the bloke who insists on blocking my driveway every other day. And anyone else that is in anyway different to me, thinks differently to me or dresses differently to me.
