A problem with society today is that we look for quick fixes, and there are too many out there that sensationalise differences within people for there own needs and purpose's (eg media, papers, politicians). People should look at there own faults before they begin to judge others.

ALthough I will add that if there are people that wish to live under some sort of religious rule and have no loyalty to our nation, then they should consider emmigrating to where they are happy, rather then a minority of these people upsetting and discourse within our society!!!

Whilst governing bodies in this country allow immagration to run wild in this country without any apparent control, people will slowly turn to rascist party's like the BNP in an attempt to make thier voices heard. We need an open honest debate where the fear of being labelled a rascist is nulled so we can tackle the issues that people are seriously afraid of. What people in this country don't seem to have grasped though is the fact that these people do not respect us, our laws, our history and our kindness.

We had better pull ourselves together, we have no burden of shame to carry and we owe these people nothing, which is what we could expect if we were unfortunate enough to find ourselves at their mercy.

Serious note though, we need more than just our immigration control to be brought forward by the time of the next General election. Europe, Crime, Roads and Education are still massive issues that need tackling. Good question!!! This nation has a shortage of skills, especially doctors etc, and hence immigration in this case is very positive.

Unfortunately, we have a good few generations of people that are on long term unemployment and sick etc, hence the government have taken the quick and easy route of immigration as a mass source of labour, instead of tackling the problem at hand!!!

Then there's assylum, Britain has always been seen a soft spot, and unfortunately Britain and it's bureacacy has been unable to cope, quantify or manage the system!!

All in all, IMO, there have been more negatives then positives for immigration in the last 10 years. This isn't neccessarily the immigrants fault bu the governments, better controlled, immigration, assylum with the effect of getting the unemployed back to work would have been the right course.

Unfortunately the labour government mismanaged, assylum, mismanaged immigration and never has tackled long term unemplyment, and with the policies inplace for such people, this has put a strain on social services, schools, NHS etc in a nation where the polpulation density was already the highest in all of europe!!!!

And now we are seeing a backlash from the natives from gentle pursuasion from the media, political parties and what they see with there eye's, they see hospital appointments being fully booked, they see that they can't get NHS dental care, they have to wait weeks before they see a doctor etc, and they see the immigrants at these services and then it's the blame game!!!

There are many attacks on non-white people that are not treated as racist. You've been 'reading' the Sun again. There are also many racial attacks not reported because the victim is too scared to come forward or does not get any support from the authorities. Language and cultual barriers prevent them coming forward. I have never felt any fear when walking past a woman who is wearing a veil. Surely it does more harm to alienate people from other cultures. I do have to say when I got jumped by half of the asian population of Huddersfield it was treated as racial by the police and if the nob heads had been caught they would of been charged with racially motivated ABH and affray (something like that anyway)
