Father Ted Posted 27 May 2007 Share Posted 27 May 2007 This is the sort of signing we would have made before when we were bankrupt but now we've got Milan, what is the point of buying S*it on free transfers anymore?
The Reverend Posted 27 May 2007 Share Posted 27 May 2007 Cort had a decent season but no thanks, we need to be aiming higher thn that. He's gettin on a bit now aswel.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 May 2007 Share Posted 27 May 2007 Didn't we get Joey from Wolves? Yes we did. And your point is ... ?If you're going down the 'we get good players from Wolves' road... then I'm afraid, I'm going to have to crack out the Ade Akinbiyi. Hmm. No. Real Betis. lookwhaticando Posted 27 May 2007 Share Posted 27 May 2007 Hmm. No.Real Betis. Argh! That'll learn me. Shoulda checked up on that. I had visions of Wolves - knowing he'd played there - and assumed he'd just hopped over, since he was already in the area.

J.Lisemore Posted 27 May 2007 Share Posted 27 May 2007 to be honest carl cort was a good player back in his day but hes just too injury prone now and has lost his touch. jason culina from psv would be the sort of signing to start our transfer spree

Thracian Posted 28 May 2007 Share Posted 28 May 2007 2 goals in 32 appearances since sept 2005 says it all! And Martin Allen, master of the crytic quote, presents: "Fryatt and Cort, Deadly Duo" - for the longer term investor in guaranteed goals! Somehow, I don't think so. There just seems to be something missing!
Head Honcho Posted 28 May 2007 Share Posted 28 May 2007 NO NO No and No.the guy had 1 good season and that was that. Since end of sept 2005 he has made 32 appearances and scored only 2 goals as well as receiveing 1 red card. The guy is useless and if that is the best we can do then we will not make any real improvements. MDV's goalscoring record is better than his! About the same as Fryatt last season then
