Blue Bob Posted 25 June 2007 Posted 25 June 2007 Nice to see MM stirring things up a bit. I thought the Saganowski deal was ready to be done weeks ago but for some reason he has failed to sign for Southampton. He must be having doubts so I think it is good MM has given him something to think about.

From what I've read I think it's more likely that they're not allowed to sign any players at the moment. They have massive financial problems that even the Bale money hasn't alleviated.

I was going to say I heard they had the money for the fee. I bet he wants more money. Which doesn't really bowd well for us as I don't think Mandaric will offer him silly money.

I agree I dont think MM will offer him silly money but I guess we are in a better position to offer him better wages than Southampton who are losing millions every month. Saganowski could be stalling to see if this bloke from Microsoft who is rumoured to be taking over actually does. If he does not Southampton might be forced to sell more players and then start a downward spiral, he may not want to be trapped in this scenario. I would hope we are a better opportunity than Burnley!!

I think it'll be personal terms he is stalling on and if MM is keen on him, he might go that extra bit to get him.

Mandaric isnt stupid. he is wise. im sure if he was willing to pay hendrie 20k he would pay saga 15 IF he thought he was worth it...
