The People's Hero Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 The most important plus about Saganowski is we can reprise our Cadamarteri chant (and actually for a good player) That's true. Very true. Fez, never lie to me... will you?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 That's true.Very true. Fez, never lie to me... will you? Would I lie to you baby? Would I lie to you?
Tubes Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 The most important plus about Saganowski is we can reprise our Cadamarteri chant (and actually for a good player) good thinking du du du marek saganowski but cada was good i disagree there

Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 He's got to say that after what Milan came out with. I'm not reading anything much into it. They said they were close weeks ago.
ronnup Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 He's got to say that after what Milan came out with. I'm not reading anything much into it. They said they were close weeks ago. truth. Has to say something. If they can raise the cahs, which they are struggling with badly, the deal will still be far shitter than ours
The People's Hero Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Oi! Less of this football talk! It's the close season! A time to be pithy, evasive, rude and obnoxious.
Ultra Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 truth. Has to say something. If they can raise the cahs, which they are struggling with badly, the deal will still be far shitter than ours Really? Haven't they just sold Gareth Bale for £10m?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Really? Haven't they just sold Gareth Bale for £10m? They've got no money at all. Everyone's bailing out (Bale, Cranie, Best, Baird).
Ric Flair Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Really? Haven't they just sold Gareth Bale for £10m? That's what I was thinking, but there's something not quite right down at Southampton. Apparently the money they got for Bale (it's not £10 million up front) has been used to pay off debts and they have very little to spend. Plus their takeover has gone tits up.
The People's Hero Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Southampton are fu cked basically. It happens to a lot of fairly big clubs who come down eventually. We would have gone that way too (again) if not for MM.
Gené and Tonic Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Reading that Southampton board it would just be so funny to see their reactions if we do sign him.
Kent Fox Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Has Best made his mind up what he's doing yet? Or has he moved / signed / stayed and I missed it??
Ric Flair Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 Southampton are fu cked basically. It happens to a lot of fairly big clubs who come down eventually. We would have gone that way too (again) if not for MM. We did go that way, for a couple of seasons. When our transfer dealings involved the purchases of Andy 'Jonno' Johnson and Josh Low. I really hope we get Saganowski and Southampton plump for Elvis Hammond.
lookwhaticando Posted 26 June 2007 Posted 26 June 2007 We did go that way, for a couple of seasons. When our transfer dealings involved the purchases of Andy 'Jonno' Johnson and Josh Low. I really hope we get Saganowski and Southampton plump for Elvis Hammond. Since we were in the shit not too long ago (as Southampton seem to be at the minute), we - as a club - could be sympathetic and 'charitable' towards Southampton and donate Elvis Hammond. The "Scummers" as Mandaric referred to them yesterday would be truly grateful, I'm sure.

I'd much rather they made an irresistible bid for Fryatt - like a pair of sunglasses and a free deckchair for the summer season.
