Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 The way I've always thought about it is, hypothetically, Milan would find out another player connected to Saganowski's agent, give him a bell and say I'm interested in your boy Vlodivodkaface there, have a quick chat about him and then casually mention he fancies a bit of Saganowski too.

Alexikokopops Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 what so he may sign a crap player just to get a good player or am i missing something No, say he's interested in the crapper player, have a word about Saganowski on the sly, and then if anyone says owt say we were interested in the gash chap. Unless I'm just being a clown too.

Maybe Lee7 was right, and that's how we ended up signing Hammond. We were actually interested in bringing in Luis Boa Morte. Another mystery solved, I'm like Dr Mark Sloan.

potter3 Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 what so he may sign a crap player just to get a good player or am i missing something Bingo!
Dames Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 It is now offically the 12th and he has not signed as of yet.
City Fan Posted 11 June 2007 Posted 11 June 2007 It is now offically the 12th and he has not signed as of yet. The "June 11th" in the title thread isn't suggesting he was supposed to have signed then. It merely is there to show that the thread has been updated. If you read newtonfox's post, if a deal is done it should be by the end of the week!

Babylon Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 should be by the end of the week! Could be by the end of the week!
davieG Posted 12 June 2007 Author Posted 12 June 2007 I added the June 11th myself to indicate the thread had been dragged up - and re-opened - for a reason. Closed! I didn't know it had been closed. Why was my topic closed? Why didn't someone email me? You've changed the title as well and it looks like I put that date in and I got it wrong, that's not fair!!!

Is that how you do your chatting up, chat to the girl you don't fancy, get her all excited about a date with the Fez and then ask her to ask her mate she's free on saturday for a date? Shame on you!

Kind of. More specifically, I ask her ugly mate if she wants to dance and when she (obviously) says yes, I say "go on then and I'll keep your mate company". I wish I was cool enough to actually do stuff like this rather than just hear about it on the radio ten years ago and pass it off as something I've done.
Lester LXXIV Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 I reckon this'll be another to fall flat on it's face! C'mon Mad dog sort it out! It's all gone quiet over there, I said it's all gone quiet over there!!

It was said that if a deal went through it would be the end of the week at the earliest... southampton are probably still going all out to try and sign him and i seem to recall he was only just back from holiday, only when/if the Saints fail and give up will we be able to make a move for him and that's the only point at which we'll hear anything concrete.

city1993 Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Doubt it now, he's too good for us, and we have a striker like him anyway
Cat Burger Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Doubt it now, he's too good for us, and we have a striker like him anyway No we don't!
Leonisco Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Doubt it now, he's too good for us, and we have a striker like him anyway Who's that then?
escape2victory Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Who's that then? I presume he means Hume, but despite not seeing a great deal of this Saganowski bloke Im pretty sure he's a better player ! But he does have a bit of a point. If he does sign, where will this leave Hume ? because surely it will give the team more balance with a big man small man combination, i.e Cort winning the flick on's with a smaller busier type of player picking up the loose balls etc. Maybe a front three with Hume and Saganowski playing either side of Cort. Sexual !
