The only player i am desperate to see is Hendrie, yes Saga is good but hes not that good.

Yeah, Saga wasn't that good.

Don't know what all the fuss is about..

Didn't really ecpect him to come here anyway. Would have been nice, but we'll just have to turn our attentions elsewhere.

I'd have mixed feelings about McLeod if he came here, but if the price is right then I wouldn't mind so much.

We’re going to be lumped with pissing Elvis and Dodds at this rate.

No, not fussed really. I didn’t even know who Saga was until someone started this thread about 3 weeks ago.

we will get him for half the price when the saints go into admin

I thought Milan had the pulling power of an Eastern European in a Strongest Man In The World tournament when all the time it seems he's as crap as Geoff Capes.

Never really could see us getting him tbh. And if a new striker is going to be brought in I'd certainly preffered Todorov and as an outside chance Sharp even though he'll move elsewhere.

I'm actually confident in Hume, Fraytt and Cort as a 3 to provide our striking options as well as Sappleton and Dodds who may get a chance at some point.

You're a braver man than I am then.

Just 20 league goals were scored between all 5 last season.

But again to be fair he was never given a run in the first-team for a sutained period of time like Hume and Fryatt.

My point being that Hume scored a decent amount of goals while Fryatt and Cort had write-off seasons and Sappleton and Dodds haven't made a first team appearance between them yet. Todorov had a write-off of a season as well but we'd all be pretty chuffed if he joined.

To be fair Todorov must have only got about four at the most.

Started the season well at Pompey, only to be farmed out. You're right though. I was just highlighting the point that it's difficult to be confident of forward line consisting of what we've currently got.

Infact, today is the first time i've been pissed off all summer. I'm over-reacting, but i'm not entirely impressed with things at present. That usually means i'll be forced to eat my words soon though, so here's hoping.

GET SOME DECENT FOOKIN ATTACK MINDED PLAYERS IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love it when Ric's like this, especially the way he fully admits to these posts being emotional overreactions rather than sensible opinions.

:D

I feel similarly to be honest. I'd actually talked myself into the possibility we'd sign some decent attacking players this week, not that there's really any rush at all.

Not the best statistic that, I have to admit, however I feel all 3 have the ability to score 15+ goals in this league as long as they can stay fit (Fryatt and Cort) and we invest more in midfield getting attack minded players in to provide decent service, as I feel we already have the defensive side of the midfield covered with Kishishev and Wesolowski.
