egg_fried_rice Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 My last name is Bowyer. No relation, though I am often asked. Annoying, in a way, as I'm not a racist ****.

Pete_foxes Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 To be honest... I wouldn't touch Lee Bowyer with a Barge pole. I think if i remember correctly he has been at the centre of some sort of controversy at every club hes been at. Don't want a player like that here. Just get himself arrested, Like a certain Mr Joey Barton

consty Posted 2 August 2007 Posted 2 August 2007 I read elsewnere that Lee Bowyer may be on his way. We don't need two right-wingers. [/quote} Do you reckon he would sign if we played in black shirts and were sponsored by a company called 'Mosley'?
David Guiza Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 would you rather have campbell ryce or someone who already plays for us?
Kirky Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 would you rather have campbell ryce or someone who already plays for us? i would like campbell-ryce come to us however not as a starting winger, also it would stop cov getting him
Messi Posted 3 August 2007 Posted 3 August 2007 would you rather have campbell ryce or someone who already plays for us? i'd rather have jamal, hes a good talent, young and better than players such as stephen hughes who still aint gone

Geo V Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 Apparently Barnsley are favourites to sign him which is about his level.
MPH Posted 28 August 2007 Posted 28 August 2007 is he a right winger? thought he was left.. i forget easily. . just got back from a badly timed holiday. . it said they are looking for a striker in the skysports report so maybe Elvis will leave the building carrying a 100k with him for Mr Cambell Rice..
Lester LXXIV Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Barnsley almost completed this signing according to SSN!
morris1234 Posted 31 August 2007 Posted 31 August 2007 barnsley have a second bid turned down! http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8...2697182,00.html Southend have rejected another bid from Barnsley for winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce. The Tykes tabled a £250,000 offer for the Jamaica international earlier in the month and have now returned with a second offer - of £150,000. Shrimpers chairman Ron Martin told the club's official website: "Barnsley have submitted another bid which was considerably lower than their offer four weeks or so ago. "I have categorically turned that offer down." Campbell-Ryce has been left out of the squad for Southend's last two matches as speculation grew over his future, and admits his "head has been all over the place". But he insists he is happy to stay at Roots Hall if a move doesn't materialise before the transfer window shuts. He said: "If I'm (still) playing for Southend it won't be a problem. "I'm a professional and the fans, players and manager know that I would always give my all for this club."
