DB11 Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 How is Joey getting on at Burnley? I always thought that he should have come back to Leicester but he chose them so Anyway, I liked him when he was here so does anyone know how he's doing for them? Does he play regularly etc.?
Brainy Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 How is Joey getting on at Burnley? I always thought that he should have come back to Leicester but he chose them so Anyway, I liked him when he was here so does anyone know how he's doing for them? Does he play regularly etc.? I think hes been bad.
Bert Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 He didn't choose them. We couldn't get him due to financal situations, if Mandaric was in at the time he signed for Burnley, he would've signed for us.
Ultra Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 They went months without a win after he joined them, so he couldn't have done too well there. He was also dropped towards the end of the season. Perhaps he might have done better if he'd come back to us, but it's hard to tell.
Stuliasz Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 One of the few Burnley fans that I know reckons he was one of their most consistently good players during that awful run that they had. Saying that, I still wouldn't have had him back when the opportunity arose despite how good he was before he left.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 June 2007 Posted 12 June 2007 He's been garbage, carven copy of his first season with us.
The Stig Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Maybe it was a good thing we didn't habe the funds at the time.
Finnegan Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I dont get why he's still being idolised. Being the best of a bad bunch doesn't make you a good player.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Technically a pretty poor player but his goals did help save us.
AyewJoking Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Not the best but better than Hughes, Williams, Jarrett, Johnson.
Daggers Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Not the best but better than Hughes, Williams, Jarrett, Johnson. So are the over-21's midfield
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 So are the over-21's midfield Can tell you didn't go to the game.
Daggers Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Can tell you didn't go to the game. Since when does that disbar me from holding an opinion as ludicrous as most I read on here?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Since when does that disbar me from holding an opinion as ludicrous as most I read on here? One game is more than enough for me to make my mind up even though I was in Birmingham. Hullfox out.
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Can tell you didn't go to the game. Oi! That's a direct criticism of me! I thought we were in this together?
The People's Hero Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 I dont get why he's still being idolised. Being the best of a bad bunch doesn't make you a good player. Exactly. And 'best' is pushing the point anyway. JG is mediocre and flatters to deceive. If you think otherwise, you don't know much about football.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Oi!That's a direct criticism of me! I thought we were in this together? I was just channelling my output in a test environment.
The People's Hero Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 I was just channelling my output in a test environment. You know you can always placate me with management speak, jargon and bollocks.
Lord Nibblington Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 You know you can always placate me with management speak, jargon and bollocks. You can be placated with bollocks? You might want to speak to Daggers about his puppy then...
The People's Hero Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 You can be placated with bollocks? You might want to speak to Daggers about his pussy then... Such smut.
The Reverend Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Gudjonsson was shite. The best of a wank bunch. Scored a few good goals, but he was crap. End of.
Ultra Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Indeed - when he felt like it. I notice you used the past tense rather than the present..
