Wolves to net Eastwood and Sharp?

For £4 million.

Article in the Daily Express so make of it what you will.

Did anyone want either of these players at Leicester? £2 million each is a bit steep but you have to speculate to accumulate.

Meanwhile we are welcoming a Wolves reject on a free.

I know there is still loads of time to bring in players but I'm slightly worried we're missing the boat as Milan is too cautious with his money.

Wolves will mount a strong challenge next year. They have some very good attacking players, Andy Keogh and Matt knightly (i think) being 2 of them. If we signed sharp and eastwood I would sex wee.

We don't have that kind of money, end of story.

Why should wolves?

In the middle of being taken over, the bloke buying the club is getting it for £10 on the premise that he'll stick £30million in as investment in the squad

We do.

Lets rephrase then. Milan will not spend that kind of money on transfers. He DOES have that kind of money, but he won't use it. If our total net expenditure is more than £4m by the end of the summer I'll be seriously shocked.

We will not spend that kind of money on two players.

Simple.

Wolves would be absolutely deadly coming forward should they net those two. A combination of Sharp/Eastwood/Kightly/Keogh would tear most, if not all, defences in this league to bits.

i would crap myself if they signed for wolves!!

Keogh, Sharpe and Eastwood

How do you spell the name wrong when it's in the bloody thread title?!

Striker Freddy Eastwood will become boss Mick McCarthy’s first major signing of the summer and join Wolves next week in a £1.25m deal.

The 23-year-old Southend striker, with an immediate choice of either Wolves or Norwich, has made it clear he wants to come to Molineux.

And, with relegated Southend now acknowledging that the battle to keep their star man is lost, the Eastwood camp fully expect his switch to Wolves to go through next week.

Wolves, having initially bid £1m for Eastwood, ‘tweaked’ their offer with another £250,000 and are understood to have thrown in a bonus £250,000 as well in the event of the striker helping the club gain promotion next season.

Bargain

I will be gutted if he goes there and we get McLeod for 1m

What a front line they will have next season.

If we buy McLeod for anything near a 7 figure some of money I will be annoyed.

Agree (not that that's any kind of surprise when it comes to McLeod)... doubt it will happen though, MkDons are simply living in cloud-cook-oo land if they think they'll get anything like £1mil for McLeod, let alone £2mil!, he'll go for £5-700k i expect and i doubt it'll be us who buy him, we've got two strikers in the McLeod mould now (Cort and Stappleton) and seem more interested in the likes of Saga and Raza if we've going to invest in another... as has been pointed out the stories linking us with McLeod have all come out of MkDons, it seems their desperate to flog him to generate cash and that combined with Allen being his former manager seems to have generated most of the stories (though I'll be anoyed if there's any truth in the claim we made a bid of £1.3mil! ).
