MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 The 35-year old former Greek international and 2004 European Champion - who had a spell with LCFC after joining from AEK Athens in the late 90ies - has now officially quit his active playing career and is about to take over PAOK Saloniki as part of an investor's group. THEO! THEO! Legend.
AyewJoking Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 Favourite Theo moment: stunning equalizer at Filbo versus Man Utd. Shame we went on to get hammered.
Webbo Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 I don't think MON really rated him, but the fans loved him. I'll always remember his goal against Manure. Class, best of luck to him.
Ricey Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 Great player, not so much for us as he had Lennon/Savage/Izzet/Parker to compete with, but over recently years he's been fantastic. Theeeeooooo!
volpeazzurro Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 Great player, not so much for us as he had Lennon/Savage/Izzet/Parker to compete with, but over recently years he's been fantastic.Theeeeooooo! Yes indeedee, a happy retirement wish to a good honest pro!

Jay Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 I don't think MON really rated him, but the fans loved him. I'll always remember his goal against Manure. Class, best of luck to him. I think it has more to do with what Ricey said at the time we had one of the strongest midfields around with Lennon, Savage and Izzet as strong as almost any in the league it was more bad luck than MON not liking him imo
Floating Fox Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 What an absolute god. It is still a dream of mine to own a greek Football shirt with Zagorakis on the back. I love that man. THEO!
Durnerz Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 Legend indeed, felt sorry for him as he came when we had an invincible midfield trio that he couldn't get near half the time. Ah the memories. As many have said, warra' goal vs Man Utd! THEO! THEO!

Leicester's 12th Man Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 In my opinion he was at City at the wrong time for him personally, if he had have come a couple of years later then I think he would have been given more of a chance. It was only because we had the Guppy, Lennon, Izzet, Savage midfield that Theo wasn't really given as much chance as I certiainly would have liked. He always looked quality for the Reserves though. from Wiki Zagorakis goes by nickname Theo, which was given to him by Leicester fans Glad to see we had an effect on his career long after he left us
Sods Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 THEO!!!! a ledgend who could hit one bloody shot and a half.
