But the purpose of this thread is for everyone to have a good old moan about how we're totally lacking ambition and financial power. What puts Corts signing in perspective also is the fact Allen said himself it was a bit of a punt. That to me says there will be better arriving than Cort.

We all know that 99% of all rumours tend to be lazy journalism, speculation or windups yet once they get posted on here they somehow become gospel truth. He if he looked at Barnsley and then looked at city taking into consideration stadium, training facilities, team, chairman, manager, fans and ambition and still decided to sign for Barnsley then I am not so sure he has the right ambition for his career. I know it is not guaranteed but Leicester should have a better chance of being promoted than Barnsley so an ambitious player would sign for us, sure he might be a squad player but if he is good enough he will force his way into the team.

If Barnsley can afford him he's hardly going to be the best player in the world is he? Besides, I doubt we did bid for him anyway. No doubt he will score against us now though
