Lichfieldfox. Posted 29 June 2007 Posted 29 June 2007 The title and content of several posts recently seem very negative/rude slagging off the team, fellow posters and new signings. I think most of the posters on here are all realistic as is the manager and chairman. We are on a 3 year plan to achieve premiership status. That may happen sooner rather than later but I don't see many people here expecting instant success. MA is assembling a squad that will show progress and develop. He has ditched a load of poorly performing players and is trying to build within the constraints. We need another 3-4 players to have a squad of similar size to last season (assuming those on transfer list move on). The window opens on Sunday and most teams have been far less active than us to date. I am hopeful of a far better season than the last two. So basically I agree with a very recent but now mysteriously absent TBJS post reply which might a say was a tad rude and brief but nevertheless probably fair comment. Presume we have some rules which is why so many topics suddenly closed today

Like I've once said before, on here, I'm sure Allen isn't intent on getting city relegated next season so please just (to all these new posters) stop moaning about all our signings and lets see what happens once the tranfser window is officially open. Please.

I believe if we actually wanted to we could have got Torres but we lost out to fookin' Liverpool who are at best an equal size club to us, we really have to be competeing with teams like this if we are at all serious about going somewhere. I'm sure Mandaric could have afforded that money its nothing to him after all and whats Allen playing at going on holiday so we lose out on these top quality signings. To be honest i think we should sack them all do the infinate money cheat and place myself in charge since i have infinate knowledge of the FM database and i know all the future stars and who to buy. yes i used to be kinda like this but i have reformed my ways.
