OzFox Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Kisnorbo didn't impress the Aussie media with his performanace against Singapore on Saturday night . Australia won 3-0, but the defence was a mess... Quote from the Sydney Morning Herald: "coach Graham Arnold gave Patrick Kisnorbo a head start for the spot alongside Lucas Neill. But Kisnorbo had a night to forget - often getting caught out of position, getting booked, and being exposed for pace - before being dragged off early in the second half" Arnold said "I'm not happy with the defensive side of things, that's for sure. The scoreline could have been 10-4 to Singapore" Bit harsh actually..Kisnorbo did alright and his booking was a joke. They did look very edgy on crosses though...
Guest Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 They did look very edgy on crosses though...Funnily enough, so have we.Coincidence?
eaststandtom Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 ''They did look very edgy on crosses though...'' so did we all last season!!!
Finnegan Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 ''They did look very edgy on crosses though...''so did we all last season!!! There's an echo in here.
JoeyB Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 the o.s tells it a bit different City defender Patrick Kisnorbo was part of the Australia side that gained a 3-0 victory over Singapore in an international friendly on Saturday. The game was the final warm up match for the Socceroos ahead of their opening fixture in the Asian Cup in Bangkok on July 8. And Kisnorbo staked his claim for a place in the starting XI on that day with a strong performance in the heart of the Aussie defence Linkage
Thracian Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Much overrated. I'd take a a decent bid for Kisnorbo anytime. Just because he gives everything people seem to ignore his shortcomings.
Master Fox Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 There is something I’ve noticed about international football in recent years. If there’s a player in the match who looks totally out of his depth and playing utterly shite, 9 times out of 10 he plays for Leicester. Guaranteed!
Dr The Singh Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Much overrated. I'd take a a decent bid for Kisnorbo anytime. Just because he gives everything people seem to ignore his shortcomings. Agreed, i've never understood the hype, he is a champoinship defender at best!!!!
davieG Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Hes one of the defenders to play for leicester ever. Were you going to say best or worst, either way you're way off the mark.
potter3 Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Hes one of the defenders to play for leicester ever. In the last couple of years, arguably. Not ever. Not even in the last 5 years.
Raj Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Hes one of the defenders to play for leicester ever. Hes one of the most well endowed defenders to play for leicester ever. Is that what you meant!!!??? P.S...we did seem very poor at crosses last season
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Much overrated. I'd take a a decent bid for Kisnorbo anytime. Just because he gives everything people seem to ignore his shortcomings. Indeed espeically as of late.
David Villa Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Kisnorbo has been our most consistent Centre half for the last 2 seasons and i think a prem team may come in for him soon.
Guest Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Kisnorbo has been our most consistent Centre half for the last 2 seasons and i think a prem team may come in for him soon. If they did, and offered money for him, I'd take it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Kisnorbo has been our most consistent Centre half for the last 2 seasons and i think a prem team may come in for him soon. Not really saying much, he's only had time bomb and McAuley to compete with.
Geo V Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I know I may be beaten down by the locals on this one but if a silly offer comes in, say £1.5+, I would cash in and use the money to bring in other players. McAuley to me is a solid player and I wouldnt grumble if he was paired alongside N`Gotty at the start of the season. Maybe Kisnorbo is in the shop window now???
lookwhaticando Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Flog him and sign the Kippe. That'd be a money spinning move. Kisnorbo out for a million, Kippe in for a few hundred thousand. I wonder if Charlton are interested... they could reunite the McCarthy / Kisnorbo partnership that served us so well.
