If this is indeed true...it's very dissapointing!

Can't say iv seen much of Cohen, but Davies was class in the play-offs against forest.

I remember thinking back then he's the sort of player we need...direct, moves well with the ball and is EXCITING!

Anyways nevamind...I have faith in Matrin!

Cant say I have heard much about them, not too worried about missing out I am sure there are other players of this quality available at this price.

How does everyone know so much about these players? I've only seen the play-offs and championship highlights, and from that it's hard to know exactly how good they are.

I watch the tele

The funny thing is, I wouldn't have been devastated if our midfield this season would have read;

Commons --- Cohen --- Lennon --- Davies

Mind you, I wouldn't have wanted any of their other players.

I feel sure this would be linked to their value within our squad compared to Forest's and to the players' thoughts of how much football they'd get in Leicester's fast expanding squad.

To me there seems great danger that the volume of our shopping - and the thought that so many new players will surely be earmarked for starting places by the new manager - that some will reckon that opportunities here will be a long shot and might have been put off coming here for that reason.

Even players who are already here must think their chances may be limited - even fairly well established people like Fryatt.

when you say 36 so though Thracian you include the 7 or so signed on from the academy?

They're ear marked for the reserves so that 29.

De Vries, Hughes, Douglas, Maybury, Hammond, and Darren Kenton are Transfer listed.

23.

Dodds and Sheehan lol 21.

Still space for a few more if you ask me.

I agree, there are a number of players that should leave. We are also have a reserve side this year so we will need a bit more strength and depth in the squad. Last season I think we were too short of players and I think MM has recognised that so I expect we will have a bigger squad.

Rather like beer I'd rather have quality or not bother.

We had enough players in our squad last year - it was just that so few of them were any good.

MA has signed people like he's at a book launch, the od one or two potentially exciting.

But whether you'd call Cort a reliable centre-forward or Newton the answer to our problem right wing position is quite something else.

But whatever, consensus is that Cohen and Davies declined us for the money. We must have wanted em really bad to sign Newton and lose them!

A good deal for the Trees in principle but these are Yeovil players we are talking about and still young. Lets see how they do but I for one will be backing against them when its time or my annual footy bets through the divisions.

i appear to have missed this but why the fook has neil lennon gone to forest he would've been ideal for us next season not to mention his history with leicester :dunno:

Great player, too old and slow now and to think that hewould stop the likes of Weso getting more games would be a travesty. Lets leave the succesful old boys memories we have in peace and let him mess up at Forest as thats why he joined, to play shite for shite. :worship:

If they don't go up this season something is seriously wrong. Their team would arguable get top half in this division.

Agree, if they don't go up Colderwood will get the boot. Annoyed we missed out on them, Davies & Cohen would of been good signings. Nobody see Davies goal against forest in the play-offs? apsolutly quality

not to bothered about davies we've already got enough wingers that can play on the right but we could do with another winger that can play on the left

I suppose, would of preferred him to Newton though.

Regardless, still shows a lack of ambition.

go away. signing nobodies who didnt do much at Yeovil for £1million would be a direct punch in MM's teeth. we can get much better for much less. that Davies guy may have scored a wonder goal VS Forest in the play offs but it doesnt mean he is worth 500k or whatever his share is?

we have ambition. we are changing our whole squad with a budget (of which nobody knows how much we have). we dont want to waste big cash on players like this or Eastwoods or Sharp and spend the budget and be left with Stephen Hughes, Hammond and Maybury still in the first XI.

know what i mean?

Calm down Doris, I meant ambition on their part to go to another League One team rather than test themselves in the division above.

Who needs players with a lack of ambition? Certainly not LCFC as we're on the up :cool:Who needs players with a lack of ambition? Certainly not LCFC as we're on the up
