Savo Milosevic is without a club at present. Same Nationality as Mandaric, an impressive scoring record at almost every club he's been at. He'd also piss this league and I read somewhere he'd like to play in England again before he retires.

He'd be the best signing this summer if we could somehow sign him. The fact he's not got a club yet might mean there wouldn't be many bigger clubs than us come in for him?

Let’s hope maybe Milan can pull it off.

Get Savo in!

At school we used to call him Saddo Missalotovic.

If you were still at school, what would you call him now?

I'd call him a dick splat, but good in the air.

Savo "Slobodan" Milosevic.

He'll dictate the pace of the game and murder the opposition.

And it'll be a bloody coup if we can get him.

Robbie Fowler's agent says the former Liverpool legend is in no rush to make a decision on his future.

Fowler is weighing up his options after being released by Liverpool at the end of last season.

Cardiff, Leicester and Sydney FC have all expressed an interest in signing the former Leeds and Manchester City hit-man.

Cardiff are believed be leading the chase for the prolific forward, but Fowler's representative George Scott says the player will not rush into making a decision on who to join

"To be honest, Robbie is enjoying the little bit of freedom he's got at the moment," Scott told the Western Mail.

"He is not in a mood to be rushed. He is considering eight offers at the moment, but the phone is always ringing and there is plenty of interest.

"We've been forced to say thanks, but no thanks to a few of them.

"I wouldn't want to put the offers in any kind of order yet. Robbie is his own man, he will make up his mind about what is right for him and especially what's right for his family.

"Robbie's got six weeks really and there is no saying he won't take that time before putting pen to paper and finally decide where he's going.

"As I say, offers are coming in all the time and there is the option there to wait until more clubs come in and decide then.

"Sydney is still in there, we felt we should go out there at least. They had come to Liverpool and we thought it polite to take up their offer to go there.

"Cardiff's bid is getting the same serious consideration as the others. We know the chairman, Peter Ridsdale, is an ambitious man. I know him and he's always impressed me as a person, a businessman and just a thorough football man at heart."

I don't like how he's saying he could wait another 6 weeks. He's hardly played football lately and I'm guessing his fitness levels would be pretty shite.

His agent is really trying to put him out there though.

It's his agent trying to drum up business and act as if Fowler is the one who'll be calling the shots not the clubs interested in him. Mandaric is a shrewd operator if we don't get Fowler then i'll not be that arsed, if we do however then i'll be delighted because Milan and Allen will have took control of the situation and it would appear Robbie is up for the fight.

I can see Fowler pro-longing this until the end of pre-season. I wouldn't wait on him much longer. I still think he would be a lift, and definately show some ambition by Leicester, purely for his name BUT how fit would he be. How driven would he be to work hard and score goals for us. I do think having a player like Hume round him would work well though. I would take Cole or Fowler as long as we ar planning another striker to sign, and not just one to make up the numbers! Someone who would be challenging for a start! Someone the opposite to Fowler, i.e fast and strong!

Or maybe even the end of the following one :yesyes:

We need firepower, and not the type from the guttersnipe, although that is what exactly the likes of Hammond and De Vries are. Anyone want to set sail for the isle of Lesbos with me?

I'd be more than happy to accompany you on your voyage to the land of Lesbos.

I have a book on empathy, a photo of Ellen Degeneres and a bottle of baby oil.

It will be a hard job but I think I can go under cover as one of them to begin with. We'll find out their secrets and then turn them against them.
