Manwell Pablo Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 It's a binary situation - he either is or isn't coming. I now think, on balance, the odds are in our favour. The word 'spectacular' over-dramatises an opinion formed from the ongoing drip of new newsfeed. As news comes out it clarifies situations - he went to Oz because it was paid for, it was a freebie trip for his entire family. Have I changed my opinion of whether I want him here? No. I remain one of the few (possibly 'only') that would rather he doesn't bother. But you said there was more chance of you banging girls aloud in the centre of the pitchd during half time at the Blackpool game sir? Has this been arranged?
Daggers Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 But you said there was more chance of you banging girls aloud in the centre of the pitchd during half time at the Blackpool game sir?Has this been arranged? I've been informed by their press officer that there is more chance of me banging Ashley Cole in the centre circle, so I've faxed a request to Chelsea.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 I've been informed by their press officer that there is more chance of me banging Ashley Cole in the centre circle, so I've faxed a request to Chelsea.   This could get complicated.

davieG Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 If it's that difficult to decide I'm inclined to say no thanks! From Sky Robbie Fowler's agent says the former Liverpool legend is in no rush to make a decision on his future. Fowler is weighing up his options after being released by Liverpool at the end of last season. Cardiff, Leicester and Sydney FC have all expressed an interest in signing the former Leeds and Manchester City hit-man. Cardiff are believed be leading the chase for the prolific forward, but Fowler's representative George Scott says the player will not rush into making a decision on who to join "To be honest, Robbie is enjoying the little bit of freedom he's got at the moment," Scott told the Western Mail. "He is not in a mood to be rushed. He is considering eight offers at the moment, but the phone is always ringing and there is plenty of interest. "We've been forced to say thanks, but no thanks to a few of them. "I wouldn't want to put the offers in any kind of order yet. Robbie is his own man, he will make up his mind about what is right for him and especially what's right for his family. "Robbie's got six weeks really and there is no saying he won't take that time before putting pen to paper and finally decide where he's going. "As I say, offers are coming in all the time and there is the option there to wait until more clubs come in and decide then. "Sydney is still in there, we felt we should go out there at least. They had come to Liverpool and we thought it polite to take up their offer to go there. "Cardiff's bid is getting the same serious consideration as the others. We know the chairman, Peter Ridsdale, is an ambitious man. I know him and he's always impressed me as a person, a businessman and just a thorough football man at heart." Meanwhile, Cardiff have handed trials to former Manchester United youngster Aaron Burns and ex-Nottingham Forest man Patrece Liburd. The duo played in the friendly win at Chippenham on Tuesday as they look to win moves to Ninian Park.
Daggers Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 To be honest, Robbie is enjoying the little bit of freedom he's got at the moment To be honest, that sums up the type of player any team would be getting. An out of condition, injury-suspect, over-weight has-been with a lack of killer motivation. An abject waste of time.

Master Fox Posted 19 July 2007 Posted 19 July 2007 Sod Fowler then, Who can we get? Where's that list Ric compiled the other day?
Ric Flair Posted 19 July 2007 Posted 19 July 2007 Sod Fowler then, Who can we get? Where's that list Ric compiled the other day? Savo Milosevic is without a club at present. Same Nationality as Mandaric, an impressive scoring record at almost every club he's been at. He'd also piss this league and I read somewhere he'd like to play in England again before he retires. He'd be the best signing this summer if we could somehow sign him. The fact he's not got a club yet might mean there wouldn't be many bigger clubs than us come in for him?
